    As a kid

Hitting a tennis ball against a wall, when everyone went in for their tea.

BMX ramps, that were made to paralyze .

Transformers. Robots in the skys. Or robots in disguise. I was never sure.

My Little Pony. My next door neighbour had the full set, including the Pony nursery. Ponies wearing bibs and having bottles is a memory I will never forget

    Games. Thoughts ?

    benches.

Jesus, we'd stay up till all hours of the night playing it when we were on holidays! It was brilliant. Would love a game right now!
    Also, rounders and chasing :D

There was a huge field of reeds beside my family home growing up. We'd have a game where we'd split into two teams, playing hide and go seek, but the team that was doing the seeking would always have someone up in a tree as a watch-out.

Rounders, curbs and tennis in the back garden or tennis on the road (always popular around Wimbledon time).

Swingball...solo or with another player, hours of sore armed amusement.

We played War with homemade peg guns made out of 2 short nails, a 2 foot piece of wood and disassembled clothes pegs and a large rubber band. They would take the eye out of you and hurt a fair bit when hit on the legs. Did anyone else make these guns?

My dad was a chemist so we used to make bombs and flares on the sly as kids by raiding the jars in the garage and stuffing magnesium, sodium and phospherous powder etc into empty matchboxes and lighting them. There was some smoke and blinding flare off these yokes. We usually did this around Halloween time...till we got caught!

    What were these ?

Murder in the dark - one person left the room and the others chose who would be the murderer between them. Then person one comes back in, lights were turned off then the murderer executed someone. Lights back on and person one has to guess who did it.

Vaguely remember mother may I - something about asking could you move forward and they would say, "take 1 baby step" or, "2 normal steps" or,"3 giant steps" something like that. Game was always rigged and the popular kids won :(

Dunno about the others on the list.

Home made skate boards 'cos they real ones (plastic) cost too much. Piece of wood and old roller skates screwed together basically. Great fun!

    Sketch.
You all stood in a circle with your legs open, feet touching the person beside you.
Drop a tennis ball into the circle, whoever's legs it goes through picks it up, everyone else legs it.
The person with the ball pelts someone with it.

Such a pointless game, I had a good aim though :D

I loved payday, mastermind and downfall on a rainy day!
