Which country? Are you suggesting we join this movement? How do we do that?

people should understand that no one wants n.korea its like medieval country with zombies. For americans to drop a nuke is no option, but to test every weapon they have it will be like open season hunting  sticks and stones against stealth fighters loaded with thousands rounds per minute and napalm over their heads, might be the shortest war ever.after that they will make a museum for south Korean children to visit.

I have to assume that the people in North Korea are good people. Whatever they do daily is mostly out of fear and absolutely mental propaganda. Its the government thats bonkers.

Show of strength is all it is.
A land invasion of North Korea is impossible.
Bombing military targets in North Korea will lead to reprisal attacks on South Korea.

All parties are happy with the status quo at the moment, I don't see why people are freaking out about this to be honest.

hold hands, wave protest signs, camp around government, oh wait !? its not occupy n.korea is it ?

I agree with the OP we should get together and protest this weekend outside both of the Koreas embassies to be sure. When their leaders see several hundred Irish people badly singing a John Lennon song the good Korea will lower the prices of Kia's and the bad Korea will scrap their Nuclear weapons programme .

Sums it up unfortunately. Don't want things the way they are but no idea of what alternatives could be offered.

I don't want this Nuclear "Wang size competition" malarkey either, but until you come up with another way of dealing with NK's threats, then you cannot give out about what's happening. Provide an alternative solution to the problem or stop giving out about how it's being dealt with.

how the hell do I know ffs. all i'm saying is we shouldn't laugh in the face of possible nuclear war. as someone quite rightly pointed out that nuclear warheads were used in Iraq and Afghan yet we still think governments who sign off on this $hit have anyones best interests at heart but their own

There's a massive difference between depleted uranium ammunition and actual nuclear warheads. By the way i think the use of depleted uranium shells is disgusting and obscene and should be banned but comparing them to actual nuclear warheads is just wrong and disingenuous.

Glorious leader will donate fat body to the Soylent Green factory to feed the hungry thousands.

Urine is fine as long as it's your own.
Glorious leader drinks 30 year old French Cognac to mock capitalist pigs.

we are a special kind of ignorant to be able to mock our own and other peoples misfortune and any form of protest asking for things to be different

you'd swear that we're the ones planning wars, going into countries to steal their resources based on total lies etc but no, people want to ignore everything that's going on globally like it could never ever effect us and our precious lives

wake up and realise we are all paying to much for oil due to the wars on terrors and the rest, we're paying back private gambling debts which has cut our services to the bone and reduced so many to barely existence, our food and water are being poisoned in more ways than one, our childrens futures are being toyed with just like ours were when our parents were made just get on with it during the past "crises"

I'm slowly losing faith that we'll stop the madness that's going on all around us before it's too late. Last night I thought about my little girl again as I fell asleep and realised that if we don't try to change the system for our kids who do we change it for? As adults aren't we supposed to protect our children and do our best for them??

Why is it so that we have this saying "oh won't somebody please think of the children" as if that's not a worthy cause. you can say what you like to get through your day and take the piss out of all the concerned folk who want to do something but haven't got neither the verbal or real support from the masses but when it comes to the future, our kids, what choice have they got when they haven't a clue what's happening, or at least most don't.

the thing is kids though that aren't corrupted yet or full of denial so it's easy for them to think "why can't we change the system" but the way we're all going this is just going to continue generation after generation with those at the top having more control and doing ever more crazy $hit "for our protection".

are we all really going to sit back and watch as America further disrupts the whole planet? if you think you'll be immune to the fallout of American bully tactics just cos you're on the rock of Éire you are in complete denial of the truth.

In all honesty, as much as I despise the USA's foreign policies, in this scenario they are the good guys. There's no other way of looking at this.

Even China doesn't support North Korea anymore.

North Korea threatens South Korea all the time. Over the last few decades they've bombed South Korean military vessels in international waters, kidnapped and have detained Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese citizens for decades. They have death camps that would put Stalin to shame (Camp 22 for instance).

Despite all that, neither the US nor S. Korea ever invaded or retaliated. Now N. Korea are going nuclear because they're not getting the attention they want.

Have you ever been to South Korea? I have, it's a wonderful country. The US made the right move intervening in the 1950s, when you consider what Russia had done to the North.

all this and look at what America are up to since 2001 even ffs!! They are causing most of the unrest in the world to begin with. the amount of local and national interference even the embassies stir up worldwide is just crazy and that's before ya look at the CIA and other agencies black ops.

I'v spent a lot of time the last few weeks reading up about Korea and east Asia and their history and wars make fascinating reading, In particular S Korea's progress since the Korea war.
But North Korea is a hole simple as and those Kim's are a disgrace, A disgrace to humanity and a disgrace to anyone who values freedom, I can understand the Allies reluctance to go to war to topple the regime as its complicated, It could cause instability in S Korea and Liaoning, Jilin. And Seoul, Inchon would be destroyed.
But the fact is the N Korean rulers need to be taken out, Can anyone here imagine Iraq, Afghanistan or Iran behaving like them and getting away with it ?
