“There is not one gamer who is going to sit out of GTA V hoping that something that is going to come along down the road that’s better. It’s going to blow everyone away, and it’s going to be in the market in September,” he said in last night’s third quarter earnings call.

Isn't this sort of what PC users do? I didn't talk to a friend for 6 months because he had GTA IV on his PlayStation and I had to wait for it to hit the PC. With PC gaming picking up a bit those new PC recruits (now broke after buying a PC) may well wait it out.

I'd say it will be June/July before we see the next trailer.

You and your friends! Well when you and your friends were only 12 me and my friends were salivating at the thought of a fifth gta. So excuse us while we get to play the holy hell out of it first. :P

I kid, I kid. That sucks about starting sixth when it comes out, but if 5 is like 4, then we should all be tied over with it for a few years.

It'll be interesting to see what way they've worked the scuba gear into it. I mean, will it automatically spawn once you get into water or do you get changed in a safehouse, and then walk/drive from there with the full kit on? decent shots, hopefully the next trailer will be soon!

I've been wondering now for quite some time what to do with my life after I finish my degree this semester; do the next level of my course, change college, get a job, move abroad are all reasonable and logical options but alas I feel my true calling is to play GTA V. So screw you guys with yo plans 'nd shit.

I'd say its something you unlock/buy alright.
Kinda like the parachute, just because you jump off a high building doesnt mean you have it, so i'd imagine the same happens when you dive into the water.

I ask because I've "walked" with flippers on before and it's not the easiest of things to move in:D

What I'd like to see them do is have places dotted along the coast (like the random piers and docks in IV) where you could pick up scuba gear and head off out. Then without the gear, you can still swim on the surface, and dive underwater, but just not to the same depth or for the same length of time as if you had the gear.

I love how r* do this, it looks so much better than just a poster billboard draped across the side of the building.

I remember in 2007 all the speculation when this was being done:

That it might have the release date at the bottom for 4.

That helicopter is from the GTA: Vice City Stories cover. Still it's very impressive how accurate it turned out to be. Was the box art leaked?
