So manky. As if it's enjoyable for either person anyway - just something to tell mates about.

I've just recently become a Father a few weeks ago so I am dreading the day when somebody like me appears at my front door in the future to take my daughter out for a date. But I've more than a decade to prepare for the fecker.

When I was 6-8 I remember liking girls.

Age of 8-10 Spin the Bottle and Kissing. School Trips
there was always a game of spin the bottle so you could kiss the girls.
Primary school swimming lessons involved the boys and girls running into
each others changing rooms and flashing each other for the buzz.

Age 10-12-13 Heavy petting at this age Kids in the class were
getting cigarettes going to fields on dates where you would lie down with a girl to Kiss and get a feel of her outside of clothes. Also messing about with
condoms waving them at girls starting to carry one in the wallet in case you got lucky.

When I was growing up the local GAA teenage discos were about from
12-17 age group. At the age of 15 I was Smoking, Drinking, and getting titty and box outside knickers from the girls about my age. Every week the "Disco" would be on. each week a different girl to go after. (And I was painfully shy and would be set up by friends all of the time so I did not even have to make an effort hormones were rampant)

At 16 I lost my virginity so it was game on from there and a battle to be left
in to the Nightclubs with a baby face begun.

At 17 to mid 20's every week hormone overdrive and getting on the hunt every week from anything and everything gratuitous.

20-30s settling down phase..........Age 37 the Boring but pre-mid-life-crisis-phase, The Babby arrives and its a game changer.

The harriers was a rite of passage for every midlander for probably 3 decades.
When I was going it was supposed to be over 18 but once anyone was 18 they never went near it. In my time there was plenty of shifting on the dance floor and loads of fights outside and on the way down to the chipper. The bus home was where there often was the real action

I went to my first school disco at aged 12/13 (in first year of secondary school) and hated it! It was dark and noisy and an excuse for people to get a sly kiss from whoever they fancied in the class:rolleyes:

...After 45 minutes I called my aunt to collect me :p

I wasn't really interested in boys until I was about 15,I wasn't the most attractive girl in the school, considered a 'nun' because I didn't want lads fingers shoved up my vagina like a particular group of girls in my class...not that any lad wanted to anyway so my mother had no worries with me:p

Not too sure what the discos are like today but shine up the pioneer badge just incase ;)

Lets be honest. If you were a bit hotter you'd have been fingering and blowing left right and centre :)

I remember it well, unclassy as feck! I used to go to the Limelight in Donegal and there was always the usual craic of kids coming in the bus wearing a different outfit to what they'd left the house in, drinking WKD and getting the shift. There was always loads of kissing on the dancefloor and seats but mostly when people wanted to fingerbang they went outside and found a spot behind the nightclub or a house or shed nearby. I started going to it when I was 14, that was the usual age at the time really. You started going maybe summer after 2nd year, or some kids were allowed out for the first time at the end of the junior cert. My first night out was November of 3rd year for my cousin's birthday.

It's quite different there now though - my Dad now works as a bouncer there and has seen some pretty shocking stuff out of teenagers going there. He's had to stop kids having sex in there - once saw a couple on the sofas, probably both about 15/16, the girl was wearing a skirt and straddling the fella's lap; my dad went over and gave the fella a flick on the ear and told him to get out to fúck (not one to mince his words) and the girl stands up, knickers in her hand, nose in the air and swans out! Sees a lot of blowjobs and the likes as well I think, classy little feckers.
As well as that, the age now seems to be about 12 for kids starting to go - have heard of some kids in 6th class going which strikes me as VERY naive parenting more than anything else. Would love to show some of those parents the CCTV footage - they'd think again before letting their children go to them.

Do kids still go to discos? For my age group it was all house parties till they were old enough to go clubbing.

Jesus that's what constituted a "nun"? Most teenage girls were nuns so. :p

It's entirely plausible that a "hotter" teenage girl still wouldn't WANT to do the above simply because she's attractive to guys.

Oh, there was nothing wrong with the disco being like that- It was my first time to go and I just didn't like it.

Perhaps, interested in boys was the wrong word to use, I suppose I meant for any type of sexual things as what other posters where refering to above.

The only school disco I remember being about was The Cricket Club when I was about 13- I think twas around by Clontarf Castle somewhere apparrantly, I never went as I never really wanted to go as I hated school and most of the people in it and most of them went there , but youd always hear stories about who "met" who etc the following week and being the quiet wierd one in the class people didnt care about you hearing their stories so you heard a lot of stuff :D
Tbh, probably sad as it may sound but MEH, my first time at any kind of school dance type thing was at 17 in the local bar/nightclub, barcode, almost everyone from school went there regularly so I guess it was my version of a school dance :p:)

Judging by some of the posts, there probably wasn't that many nun's. Finger-banging was quite popular it seems.

I must be the most 'nunnest' person on this thread so...late developer...still innocent!

Nothing late about that at 15.

Doubtfully for the majority, and very doubtfully genuinely popular as opposed to just being a badge of honour/bowing down to pressure/it being considered a "rite of passage". Of me and my friends, none of us "wanted" to get fingered at 16 by an inexperienced guy which was just sore, but felt we'd better get it done in order not to appear prudish. And no doubt plenty of lads felt uncomfortable and awkward mechanically sticking their finger into a girl's hoo-haa. What I'm saying is: some claim fingering and giving blowjobs in the corner of a teen disco or the back of a building is the norm for nearly all 13/14/15-year-olds except the dry-arses. It's bullsh1t. Most people aren't that skanky.

And before anyone starts, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with two teens who are genuinely into each other having a shag using a condom (more power to them) but that's completely different to the above.

There's nothing particularly wrong with them fingering and giving head either, if that's what they both want and are not just doing it to avoid seeming prudish.

Tough cookies I'm afraid. We've all been there.

If your teenagers aren't pulling and poking lumps out of each other against a sweaty, condensed wall in St.Finians' GAA club on a thursday night, it'll happen on the pitch opposite during many a memorable drinking session.

Can't say I bothered going to many discos as a teenager. Wasn't interested, and I thought they were awful skeezy in general too.

Haha they're very quick to break up anything more than meeting in wezz nowadays from what I hear, you'd usually get away with some sly fingering but for anything more you'd have to bring yer wan somewhere outside of wezz and I remember it got to the point that they wouldn't let you leave with a bird - the trick was to tell the bouncer she was your cousin and you were staying at hers and you were goin home - get the job done and return to the lads triumphant :D

Oh those things. Mid nineties even a shy fella like me was guaranteed a few snogs and a couple of feels. Sure the girls were worst than the lads. Grabbing crotches doing all the chasing. And sure the obligiatary piss up before you even got in.

Gone are the days was just 'shifting' in my time but nothing else well didn't venture to any teenage discos when I was a teenager so wouldn't know what really went on. My debs was fairly innocent compared to what ye saying on this.

It was just "shifting" in my day too!
Me and a group of my friends spotted a girl in our year feeling a young lad up(through his jeans mind you! ) at one of our first discos as teenagers and we were all absolutely disgusted with her!!:)
    Oh how times have changed!

Nah I'm one of the auldest people here and that stuff went on all right "in mah day" in discos, but not much - and not as early as 13.

Maybe I was just completely oblivious to it, or just chose to ignore it! :D

Jeez I missed out in so much, if only I had known.

I do remember going with my friends parents to drop off my mates at NV Night Club on the border between Dundalk and Newry but I never went there. Then the next day my mates tell me that they shifted 10+ girls by just going over and asking "will you shift me/my friend?". Ah simpler times.

I just hung around my estate and girls I hung around with would bring their school friends around and then they would ask me if I wanted to shift them to which I obliged.

Then I started going to over 18 Night Clubs at 16 (was able to grow a bread so never really had a problem getting in) but they weren't as simple as the teen discos.

Yeah, the whole "Will you shift me/my friend? " doesn't really work in over 18 clubs!:D

The good old "My friend wants to know will you shift ME?" was another hit with the ladies.
