you shouldn't really look at the avg. team rating as it's for the whole squad

I can't see where you seen the 86 avg. for Barca but i'd say it includes youth players loaned out to Barca B, but they're not rated 86...

from here http://en.soccerwiki.org/squad.php?clubid=140 if you take their squad not including players on loan it's total is 2204, 24 players = avg. squad rating of 92

their starting line up of this for example:

it's got a rating of 95

That line up would destroy teams with a rating of 81-84, even up to the high 80's probably, though the difference the gap in average rating makes the closer it is isn't as noticeable & also when the teams are managed by someone instead of the game itself

like if you start as a div. 4 club & get your line up rating to 85/86 you'll walk the division as the others will have high 70's & low 80's ratings, hammering teams a lot of the time

sorry yes, I avg the entire list of players for the clubs ... thinking this would give me a fair evaluation

ah well, lets hope Porto are ok froma first team pt of view.

Wow... I just got beaten 0-7 by Dortmund.

That hurt.

(Although, this incarnation of Dortmund has Messi playing for them, so not sure how accurate it is. :P)

I assume there's a link or a code to use to join the custom GW. Easiest way to do it would be if when MrMac sets up the GW, if he PM'd everyone on the list the code. Then it'd just be down to the honour system for everyone to choose the teams they're down as. If you try to steal another players team, you get crossed off the list and can't play at all.

Then if more people want to join, they post on the thread, MrMac or someone else PM's them the code/link, and they select one of the managerless teams in the divisions.
