I'm lving this retrospective fitting of current weather to "climate change".
Cold winters the past few years were more evidence. Cold summer was evidence. Hot summer is evidence. You can't win.

Only if you look at events in a singular manner. Climates around the globe are shifting due to everything being one large interconnected system. Some places are getting warmer while others are getting colder. Hotter spells in the equator and tropics has an adverse effect on weather patterns further north and south. For example, warmer sea temperatures could see a huge change in the oceans currents and considering our weather is almost entirely due to the gulf stream it is a cause for concern.

The problem with Climate Change is that at the end of the day when all is said and done and the music stops and the fat lady sings and the chips are counted and the cows come home, we are talking about predicting the weather. The current technology allows for accurate predictions up to about 5 days, I think.

When the scientists and politicians come out and say the weather has nothing to do with the climate it shows the emperor to have no clothes.

Al Gore, if he were president, would have wasted time capturing Bin Laden and rebuilding New York.

It took a visionary with the analytical mind of George W. Bush to detect the real mastermind behind the plot - Saddam - and the to prove it by saying it really loudly over and over again on the news.

Maybe selling his cable TV channel and making $100m could explain his wealth. You know.. the American dream.
    What are you suggesting exactly?

I remember hearing about Gore's wealth increase on The Last Word a few years ago so i just done a bit of googling and found that his worth when he was vice president was 1 million and according to an article in the Washington Post since leaving office Gore has gotten involved in green energy companies. The article states that through his powerful resume and contacts he built up while in office these companies have received federal funding. The article also states that Gores personal wealth has increased by 98 million through these companies. My point is this man has made immense amounts of money and when someone has something to gain financially i usually take what they say with a pinch of salt.
