One of the best looking saloons money can buy IMO. Used to not like the look of them, thought they were very American looking but now :cool::cool:

2l on the log book, LAAAD.
As nice as the car is, that wrecks my head. It means you'd have to go out and get an engineers report and jump through hoops to get the tax sorted.
Insurance would probably be annoying too.

I think that this might be the nicest Levin I have ever seen in this country and is what I would like to get mine like (bar the SuperStrut)
If I was buying one now this is the one I would get

They are not comfortable, refined or quiet but if you drive it in the sweet spot between 5000 and 8000 RPM I will guarantee you won't stop smiling.

You could stick some of these on it so I won't stand out on your drive :pac:

My thinking for it was when we were at the meet and you started yours and gave it a few very quick but very impressive taps of the loud pedal. My main memory of it was how responsive it was. Always liked it from then on. :)

I think even for me the Alfa badges would be a bit too far to go but don't worry, I'd just park it outside the driveway on the road..:D

2.5 k less than the average market price. Would there be any alarm bells ringing ?

With this as the ad text, what do you think?
/ power steering central locking cd mp3 player .4 petrol 6 speed gearbox 90 bph electric windows electric mirrors 2 keys airbags abs braking four new tyres excellent condtion inside and out nct until feb 2015 cheap to tax and insure call owner 086 255 4908 4795 o.n.o
It's a very badly done copy and paste, bits missing, almost no punctuation or use of correct case, and finally "call owner".

Every available bell should be sounding the alarm, imo.

    Not your ornery onager

Just needs a set of proper original wheels

The only wheels that should be fitted to one of those are these:

Absolutely. I have noticed that all the genuine cosworth sierras have escort cosworth wheels and all of the replica sierras have genuine wheels :p

Jesus, that's not a small kerb either.
It's like he crashed and decided to sell it there and then.

    Non turbo on the book.

Why would you bother. Just opens it to the 17 year old market who'll buy it and go out and kill himself.

i wasn't commenting on it as an exceptional car for sale. just the stupidity of the owner to write "straight car" in the advert when the front of the car has been replaced.

i think most glanzas are non turbo on the book tbh, mine doesn't mention turbo anywhere as far as i remember. its very naive of any owner to think they can just insure one as a 1.3 starlet trouble free. the onus is on the owner to declare it to the insurance.

Sorry I was directing that comment at the seller/car not at you!

Most being insurinf cars not as they are don't really care for trouble anyway.
