Some sort of replica of a Jaguar D-Type - the famous 3-times Le Mans winner in 1955, 56 & 57. There were several companies making replicas. Given the originals are worth upwards of a million, I'd be pretty sure it's a replica and not the real thing. Very nice though and fair play to whoever drives it!

I think you are right. If he got it from these folks it still cost a few bob : http://www.jaguarreplicas.com/dtype.html

I remember reading about these in classic car weekly before. I Think they use a 4 litre xj which you supply as a basis for the car.

    Needs properly sized-wheels:D
IMHO, wheels too wide for a car like that
    just look silly.

Well with the right kit and bumper that would look pretty good. Such as this:

also Morris Minor (convertible in purple I think) and couple of Golfs... year 83 on the way to Carrigaline, then same year in driveway on axle stands (Myrtleville) and two abandoned Mk1 in driveways (approx. 1km from each other in Ballyphehane, Cork)..

    That is all for today.

What part of the country are you in? as I'll be looking for some tyres next week. They are 215 R17 45 to be exact :).

I found these two last year while in the UK. They both look like they retired along time ago. I wonder if they could be saved and put back on the roads?

Have I found a gem? A Citroën BX 4x4 estate

I would have loved to take a closer suit but I was in a suit trying to find my way back to civilization.

90% of the time when I driving for work I come across a lot of old rare stuff, especially in France.

I'll always have a soft spot for them BX's as a '91 BX was the first car I ever drove! They have aged well imo.
