Are 077 and 078 getting the rail freight livery like the rest of the 071s ?

Apparently they're getting an all grey livery instead of the silver and black freight one.

Oh right. So will the rest of the 071s get this livery then ? And is 084 the only 071 still in orange ?

Both 077 and 078 are painted in Slate Grey and will be back in traffic very soon. the only one left in orange is 084 and will more than likely be taken out of service for overhaul/painting once 77 or 78 returns. The class leader is in for an overhaul.

What about 087, still in IE orange, last I heard it was stripped for parts to keep the others on the go. 084 is the only one left in service in IE orange and has been the only one for almost 2 years now.

The nice pair of 073 and 074 are on the tara runs this week.

087 was in a bad way when it went in,major body works took place on this loco.It has not been orange in quite some time. when it returns it will be slate Grey. Anyone who can get a snap of 084 do because when she goes into works again it will be Slate Grey when it comes out the far side.

No they will be in the last batch, current ETA end of April or May.

The batch that were to be released today are held up in customs and should be cleared by Tuesday.

I have 073 pre-ordered. Already have 071, 082 and 112. I reckon I will get at one of each and a few more for re-sprays/re-numbers and one to do 077 in slate gray. They really are fantastic models. Need to get into the decoder side of things.

I have two 201s and one each of a 141 and 181, so I might look at getting a second 071 to go with 077.

Well it looks like 071 got repainted as part of it's overhaul. 071, 077 and 078 are in slate grey and have UIC numbers. Good luck for us spotters in ID'ing them.
