    I thought International Women's Day was about promoting gender equality. Instead, today I was greeted with a flood of status updates about how much people love their mammies each punctuated with a dizzying number of Xs.

    Was out having dinner last night in a quite restaurant with a Friend.
    Two middle aged woman sitting right beside us. Both woman had their phones out, leaning over the table to take pictures with each other :rolleyes: Didn't want to stare but from the corner of my eye I could see the flash from the phone going off quite frequantly...

    Then I hear...

    Woman A "why haven't you uploaded that pic of us yet"
    Woman B " I'm still waiting for the pic of the wine and food to upload taking bloody ages, I checked us in when we got here, and would you believe Emma liked it, she could of came"

    Woman A " no way.. try get that pic of us sipping the wine up quickly, show her that she missing out on a great night"

    If taking pictures of each other, the food, drink and spending the night on FB over some food is what they call a "great night" I'd hate to have them has friends :rolleyes:

    ^ makes me laugh seeing people on nights out standing there in a pub chatting, then someone decides to take a pic, cue "rowdy" pose and "wild night with the girlies!" post, then back to standing there chatting you're not being rowdy at all! stop lying through pictures!

    I think it was written whilst the person was drunk. Although it's been up about three days now so I think we're supposed to be laughing at the persons wild crazy antics, you know.. being on Facebook WHILE DRUNK! Crazy stuff.
