I think you have misunderstood.

My point was that it is unlikely that someone as ignorant as the two posters exist, and they are really two lads taking the piss.

didnt misunderstand at all. i was using their logic to make wild generalisations to back up my argument, thus showing up their logic as flawed.

The beautiful thing is, the domino effect thats happening in america right now. after Colorado and Washington legalising, Polls in California are showing that 54% are in favour of full legalisation unlike the 46% of two years ago. Maryland and Florida are talking about medicinal legalisation, and there are bills being prepared to get the feds to butt out and let the states look after themselves. Closer to home the Czech republic has just legalised for medicinal use.

A couple of years ago i didnt think any form of legalisation would be on the cards in my lifetime, but now its a case of when, not if.

It'll happen, and theres nothing the likes of fulton crown and his troll mates can do about it. They can spew all the shite and rhetoric they like.... but if there was an emoticon for flipping the bird i'd be using it now.

That makes me very happy.

I find it surprising you're not aware of the way boards.ie works. You'll find that all the forums are expertly moderated by a team of highly skilled (and usually infallible) people.

Uruguay introduced a bill last November to regulate production and sale of cannabis. Under the proposed legislation, Uruguayans over 18 will be able to purchase pot in state-approved distribution centers.

Czech Republic President Vaclav Klaus signed legislation into law last week legalizing the use of cannabis for therapeutic purposes.

Under the new law, patients with a physician's authorization will be able to access cannabis from pharmacies.

Initially, cannabis will be imported into the country. However, the law also allows for the eventual domestic production of cannabis for medical purposes by state-licensed producers.

Individual patients will not be allowed to cultivate their own cannabis under the law.

Canada, Israel, and The Netherlands also allow for the state-licensed production of medical marijuana for qualified patients.

Half Of Britons Support Softer Cannabis Laws

The majority of Britons would support a softer stance on cannabis laws, an independent think-tank has said.

More than half the public support legalising the production and supply of cannabis or decriminalising its possession, according to a survey ordered by the Transform Drug Policy Foundation.

Only one in seven Britons support heavier penalties and more money being spent on enforcement for cannabis offences, the campaign group found.

Some 67% of people support an in-depth review of policy options for controlling all drugs.

Transform head of external affairs Danny Kushlick said: "These results show just how far ahead of politicians the public are.

The states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington currently legalize Cannabis use for varying reasons. Washington and Colorado approved recreational Cannabis use by adults, with regulations to monitor its possession, use and sale.

Expect more smoke In 2013.
Alabama, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, New Hampshire, Maryland, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and West Virginia introduced bills to make Cannabis use lawful. On February 21 2013, for instance, Maryland Democratic Delegate Curt Anderson introduced a bill to legalize and tax Cannabis use by “over 21” adults.
