    First problem OP is that you posted this in AH, hardly renowned for giving good advice. Second problem, judging by your grammar and punctuation, you appear to be drunk. Sure you might be angry with the man you are with, maybe it's the drink talking (my theory relies pretty heavily on you being drunk) but posting threads like this, at this time of night is never a good idea.

    I was just eating a banana there and retched before being able to swallow the last chewed up piece. Got it down in the end, but it felt disgusting, like a huge gob of lumpy snot.

    Some people are of the opinion that if they talk a lot then they're interesting. Not so. If someone isn't particularly garrulous then it doesn't make them boring either. Maybe someone hasn't engaged this person in the right line of conversation? If someone tried to engage me in conversation on last night's X-faxtor or last weekends rugby they be met with a few words (the latter) and blank stares (the former). But if someone brings up a subject I'm interested in there's no shutting me up.

    Oh, I agree, lots of quiet people tend to talk a lot less sh1t that than the average person. Less verbal diarrhoea. I must take notes off them. :pac:
