Another thing i have to laugh about what Irish girls want is this scenario.. Every sunday the women all around Ireland are watching TV foaming for the likes of Brezzie. He's this, he's that etc...Wishing all men was like brezzie. Now when the said Brezzie is on TV he's wearing skinny jeans, trendy shirts with low cut t-shirts, and maybe a purple pair of slip on canvas shoes etc.

Now if i turned up at any nightclub wearing the clothes like the 'god' brezzie, the girls would be, he's not a real man, state of him, must be ghey etc...Only applies to Irish niteclubs/girls. You could wear a pink shirt out in England and people would just see you as trendy/unique. In Ireland unless your wearing jeans, shirt, black communion shoes, gold chain, ur seen as ghey. Glad my girlfriend isnt narrow minded Irish.

He's probably either good looking and/or built like a brick outhouse. Some guys can get away with certain things. Most things can be explained logically - girls just want men to be confused because they get a kick out of it.

I'm always amused that women judge men on their shoes yet they buy shoes they can't walk in!

according to 'Take me Out Ireland',2013 a tall dark and handsome man, whos a 'real' man and a bad boy who will treat them bad, but wont f**k them about is what Irish girls want....

Bit of a contradiction there, but TMO is hardly intellectual stuff...

what the hell is with the job and stability your not getting married.... your going for a drink its really pathetic that women judge a man bye his career.. Honestly Id rather be a manny any way :pac: seriously why is it important for the man to be the stable one, i always felt that it was a 50/50 thing.. I don't have a fancy title and I do what I do well actually I'm fvcking awesome at it... :)

How ever i never want to be judged on my career alone its not something id sit there and talk about with a girl i barely know. Unless of course she a fasion designer and were just talking about fun creative things...

It's not about "the man having to be the stable one". I'd imagine most women who look for stabilty in a man are very career minded themselves. I know I am. Sure I want to feck around for a few years and not worry about work but eventually I want to develop my career and earn a decent wage so I can provide for a family in the future. I'd look for the same in any man/woman I was dating. If it were something serious, that is. At the moment I'm too young for all that!

Every single woman I know from Ireland has their own career and own money and I can bet my life on the fact that it's the same for all of you (unless unemployed due to the crisis). Have I accidentally wandered into Boards Saudia Arabia or what?

My boyfriend is unemployed and has been since last Summer. I don't love him any less and I'm not exactly rolling in the $$$ myself. Irish people value independence including financial independence and Irish women are no exception...in fact I'd say we differ from a huge amount of nationalities on that front.

When you're only at the going for a drink stage it doesn't really matter if you're on the dole or a high flying "50 shades" douchebag lawyer but most women won't have someone on the dole as their boyfriend and even if they have a job they could be in line for replacement if someone with a very good job comes along.

Evolutionary pre programming at work. Women are subconsciously thinking about the stable environment for their future kids

    Oh dear.

    I hate Bressie.

Black communion shoes? Really?! Most guys I see in clubs wear smart trainers/nice brown shoes.

    Gold chain? Feck off

Stop making lazy generalisations just cos you can't get laid ;)

Well whenever someone asks the question "what do you look for in a man/woman" I always assume they mean what are the ideal characteristics in your partner, not just someone you will have a few drinks with a shag and then decide you don't want anything serious

I would go out with someone on the dole but only if they were 100% determined to get off it as soon as possible. I'd expect the same of a man who's dating a woman on the dole.

When the woman has a very good and/or well paid job it makes a difference though. She will only lower her status standards if she's not attractive and gets a man who's fairly handsome - and even then she'll not go too far down the pecking order.

Just live your lives, look after yourself physically, and one of these "women" might even take a shine to you one day. Unless you're seriously ugly, which a lot of you probably are.

Apparently that doesn't matter if you're rich and have a big cock though.

Again, please stop talking out of your hole. You're not a woman therefore you don't know what you're talking about. I am, on the other hand hence why I know you're talking bollocks.
