Sky+ has been updated today to allow you to access your planner and control the box via your phone/tablet.

However I think the box needs to be connected to the phone line in order to get it to work, otherwise you seem to get the message "Cannot find a compatible Sky+ HD box on this network".

Has anyone got it to work on an unconnected box ?

The phone and box need to be connected to the same broadband network for it to work.

Is it available in Ireland as it's not appearing on the Play Store.

Might be best to move the Sky+ app problem chatter to this thread. Some people over there are having the same problem.

Simpsons game working on my note 2, three network. Looks good

The Simpsons. EA are strict about where you buy your games from. Dead Space is 'dead', if you buy it from the US Play store and attempt to play it here.. same for a good few other of their games.

Nexus 7 is compatible and I'm getting locked out by country. 3 Midband. I'm using OpenDNS though. I'll disable that and try again.. no luck.

Possibly a long shot, but is there anything that would allow me to turn the phone's data connection on and off remotely, from a laptop?

Yeah it's getting annoying now. It crashes for me after about 10 seconds, and from opening in a second or two it's not taking much longer. No updates for the past few days and some are badly needed as I can't use it at the moment. It's a shame as it seemed to be working almost perfectly.

I tried it a week or so ago. Ended up buying the paid version just to start using it and get pissed of about it crashing all the time. Everytime I selected a new contact the app just crashed. Was quite disappointed :( back to stock for now

Using Tablet Talk across a recent tablet, Nexus 7 (4.2.1) and a ropey old Samsung Europa (2.2). Works perfectly with Bluetooth. There seems to be less privacy issues than some of the free apps.

The interface is minimal, which attracted me to it. If you're into bevels and bling, this app isn't for you.

Excellent home screen widget for 4.2+. It replaces the default clock widget and also shows a clock, along with weather, email notification, sms notification, calendar notification. Plus it's extendable so other apps can plug into it as well.

Bah, 4.2+ rules out most android users...

I like it, but it does seem quite slow to update some of the notifications, and I'd like to be able to customise it a little more. It looks nice though.

Seems as you can now get it from the store.

I was silly enough to get an unlimited coin and donuts version last night just for messing around. It seems they use some sort of cloud sync so when I restored the old version of the app, all the hacked stuff was still there :S pretty much have the game ruined now :(

Any one noticed how EA Games tend to change their developers name? First it was just Electronic Arts, then EA Netherlands and now its EA Swiss xxxx.
