Pancake Tuesday

So tomorrow has to be one of the best days of the year as it is pancake tuesday .

Is everyone excited ? How many pancakes will everyone eat ?

You can't beat a pancake with nutella. What does everyone like on theres ? :P

Had my pancakes today as I couldn't wait. I ate 6 all with fresh lemon and vanilla sugar. Yum yum. My bife ate his with Hersey chocolate sauce and cream.

I remembered halfway through why it's only once a year as they are such a pain in the ass to make.

I've been practising my pancake making in preparation for tomorrow, yep, 364 days of practice

I shall be making my own chocolate sauce to drizzle over the pancakes though sadly this won't be tomorrow

They're incredibly easy to make. It's the cleaning up afterwards that's the pain in the ass.

So do you guys have your pancakes as your evening dinner? That's what we always did in my house growing up, but the OH thinks we're freaks as he used to have his as dessert after their evening meal.

Yeah it's basically supper. However, tomorrow for the first time I'm having them for breakfast too!

Dunno why I'm so excited about pancake Tuesday this year... For some reason I've been looking forward to it for about a month.

Oh and lemon and sugar. That is all.

Years ago, when I was in Secondary School, we used to go to the local Dunnes at lunch and devour the sample pancakes that were on offer. They soon learned to stop giving out free samples of pancakes when we were around.

I'l be having some pancakes with nutella, lemon juice, jam and cream all rolled up nicely until it explodes when you bite into it, I'l keep eating them until the artery in my neck hurts.
