THIS is why there needs to be gun control in the US. It's a gun, not a fkcuing accessory!!

    /rant

i had to take a 3 month gun safety course before i was allowed to resister for a gun licences.

i had to take a 3 month gun safety course before i was allowed to resister for a gun licences.

    America, fúck yeah!

Limerick could be the place for you Murph:D

i'm not black, why would that matter though? what's GAA?

    a) racism is rife
    b) it's a sporting society for irish games. Very tribal and conservative.

I knew a canadian girl that was invited to a gaa game, went missing for two years and was found by police working as a cleaner in a nun's convent for no pay. Stay frosty.

i'm sure racism in ireland couldn't possibly be any higher than it is here in america, we just pretend to like everyone but if we thought we could get away with it we'd kill each other. not me personally though, if you're a fun person we'll be best of friends. :D

hello, i'm an 18 year old northern american girl thinking about going to ireland for school next year, i haven't decided where to go yet i'm debating whether to go to cork or dublin. i'm absolutely fascinated with the culture (and i won't lie, i love the accents) i was just wandering if anyone had advise/opinions on the matter they'd be willing to share with me. i've heard there are some major differences in culture and i don't want to accidently offend anyone so anything you have to offer on the subject would be greatly appreciated. such as:

    1. i don't really drink, so would it be harder for me to make friends because of this?
    2. i heard that irish women don't really like american girls is that true/why?
    3. is there any place that i should avoid/go?
    4. how do irish men go about with flirtation?
    5. what are some slang that i should know?

anything and everything else you'd like to throw in the mix is welcome as well! thanks in advance!:)

Welcome back. Did your father enjoy his Christmas in Galway?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

This was already posted yesterday in PI or TLL. A mod closed it and advised the OP to post it in a travel forum... yet "she" found her way to AH??

To prove you're real, we're going to need to see a photo of you in your high school cheer leading uniform. If Hollywood has taught me one thing, it's that all American chicks were high school cheerleaders!

Do Irish girls hate American women? They must be masochists so because they watch enough ****e American TV and a fair few tend to talk like Americans and copy their some of their mannerisms.

Strong sense of deja vu about this thread, yes could be the Christmas for daddy poster, but most of it reads earlier than that?
