    she was on newstalk publicising that play with madge from neighbours, i think it was just something to do while she visits ireland a lot. madge herself has a house in galway!

    she wanted to get out of the limelight herself though, to go back to college and do her postgrads. she just used the publicity to fund her education, said thanks and went back to normality.

    Not a household name as such but about five years ago Alan Dale, who had previously played Jim Robinson in Neighbours, was in at least three popular American programmes all around the same time. He was in Lost, Ugly Betty and some teen soap that I only saw one episode of; it may have been The OC. I haven't seen him acting in anything since then.
