We'll cheer you and horsey! And I'll come visit you and horsey sometime too :D

We have an operation transformation thing going on in my team for work, once the ideas get going anyway. My idea is to bake for people at the end of it :p:p

Thanks bluey :) Yay you will have to come visit! I'll only have this horsey until the end of the month, then I'll have a new horsey at the end of March, she's cheaper :D

    Oooh operation transformation sounds cool!

I LOVE this morning!! It's like my fug has instantly lifted cos January is gone...never had the January blues before but sweet baby Jesus, I'm glad to see the back of it! Have the house scrubbed already so I won't be in a mad panic to get it done after the gym and before work. God, I missed being organised and motivated

I can see the sun! :D YAY.
I made honey, banana and almond muffins for a few of the lads in work today. Now that I'm in an open plan office, everyone can see my desk and can see they are there.

People I don't know are saying hello to me today.

They aren't getting any. Nah na na na na.

I'd say the smell of them is amazing. You're sitting beside them with a mini fan, aren't you!? :pac:

Oh god. Just had such a pang of hunger reading Stenchy's post. They sound divine.

I had cake for lunch yesterday. Brought the birthday boy into town (do you know how difficult it is to get an indoor activity in Galway for a 3 year old to enjoy in January?). So we went to the library, had a chat with an autistic boy about cars while we were there, had cake, went to Easons and read the latest Julia Donaldson book (Superworm). Then we headed home. We had planned to bring him to Smyths to pick something out, but he was already an antichrist by then so we just went home.

Mam came over in the evening and we gave her our news. <3

Think we're going to tell Mike's mum on Sunday.

I will. We'll go horseriding and I'll remember how to ride :p

I wasn't as enthused as everyone else, but I will participate...
I admit I'm taking the stairs up now instead of the lift after breaks, 4 flights is just the right amount

Those muffins sound amazing. Might bake some tasty things this weekend myself.

Absolutely wrecked after my week, so glad to have a night off tonight to relax (read: clean the house). Have a delivery coming from Woodies of new housey related things so I can't wait to play with them!

Saw awesome massive candle lanterns in Meadows & Byrne yesterday that I'd really like for our little party in August so I'm going to have to strong arm someone with a van to bring me to buy them. Also saw this cool tree candle holder. It's made out of hard plastic and there's little pretend branches and you hang a load of glass tealight holders off the pretend branches, looks so pretty! I sort of love and hate going to Meadows & Byrne, I come away wanting everything!

Those muffins sound amazing, Stench Blossoms. I must start baking muffins again. Such a yummy treat, a homemade muffin!

Pixiebean, I am the same in Meadows & Byrne!

I also am in great form. Got really good feedback at work yesterday so I blow the budget and bought all the things in the Jaeger sale. Wearing my new silk blouse today. Meeting a pal whom I haven't seen in an age for wines and chats tonight. Ireland match tomorrow. Going out tomorrow, which will be amazing after a long, dry January. And it's a beautiful morning out \0/ :D

I've never been to Sligo. Very disgraceful form, given that I'm a huge Yeats fan! :o

I nearly died last night when the reality that 31st of January is the last day of it hit me! I love January, this year is going too fast, I want it to come back!!

I have no plans for that weekend (bar possibly being in the city for work on the 16th), but as I am fighting a losing battle to save some money at the moment don't arrange anything around me, I have €300 to pay for dental stuff sometime in the next few weeks and have a mahoosively expensive weekend coming up in March, so expensive that we're not doing anything for my birthday - or the entire months of Jan/Feb - so we can save for it.

Mornin' everyone. Feeling a little better today; I was Skyping J last night and he regaled me with a story about a Norwegian (?) movie called Troll Hunter, and a character called Ringlefinch. I do love that boy.

Heading home later on though to see my family. I think lots of wine is going to be consumed.

Someone else brought in chocolate chip cupcakes so mine are being abandoned. I've 11 left. I'll have to start pimping them out.

I somehow managed to lose around 4lbs in January just from cutting out booze and not being too silly about what I was eating...
