    Awake since 5.20am and was still late for work. How is that possible?

    James came in to our bed and just when I thought I was about to nod off again he starts singing at the top of his voice: Nananananananana BATMAN!

    He slept so well all weekend and Monday morning he's up with the lark.

    3 on Thursday, time flies.

    He'll be coming up to you constantly with various things asking you to "talk" them for him. :) Very cute. Very irritating.

    My boss rang this morning telling me she was working from home today, which was a relief as I was expecting a busy one. Then she rang about five minutes later saying she had changed her mind and was on her way in after all...

    Hope ye all had a nice weekend!

    It was my birthday yesterday, I ate ALL THE CAKE! :) Had a galette des rois (a lovely tradition over here in January). om nom nom nom.

    Just heard there that a guy got shot while driving in his car by a bullet that ricocheted off a wild pig. Jeebus, we can't even drive in peace now where people are hunting!

    Conversation with the crazy woman this morning.

    "I found your note on my desk saying you couldn't find that file but it's on my desk now, did you put it there?"
    "No, I couldn't find it."
    "Are you sure? Because it's on my desk."
    "No, definitely wasn't me."
    "Are you sure now that it wasn't you because it's on my desk."
    "Yes, definitely wasn't me."
    "So you definitely didn't put it on my desk?"
    "No, definitely wasn't me."
    ......
    "Oh I just remembered I took it out of my bag."
    ......

    2 of the women I work with have the most disgusting conversations in work.

    On Friday for example, while we were having our coffee break, and one of them started talking about
    her smelly farts
    and now they are talking about
    camel toe
    . Who thinks that that is appropriate work conversation??

    I once had a colleague who spent all her time on the phone to her friends etc. I knew she had a boil of some sorts on her lady-bits. I knew she was pregnant before she told her fella. I knew her fella got in trouble for joy-riding or something. But that stopped when the management reprimanded her and made her pay back the cost of the phonecalls.

    That just reminded me of the episode of Friends where Rachel and Tag go down to the office to find out who had the papers - Rachel puts them in Tag's bottom drawer, and then he puts them back on her desk:

    So you're saying they just slid out of your bottom drawer, crawled across the floor, then jumped on to my desk?
