Nuthin but water I'm afraid my dear :(

    Better safe than sorry.

It might seem like an age now, but it's not that far away.

Hint: When you get to the hospital, find the shortest route possible to the cafeteria, so you can run there at full tilt after your bloods and stuff your face :)

Sore throat has turned into a rotten headcold. Dare I say it, I think it could be as bad as manflu.

Do you feel as if life is not worth living without the remote control and that moving from the sofa will take your last dying breath and nothing but grease and constant attention can revive you?

That's when you know you have manflu..

Seriously, it feels like ****, but honestly you'll be fine.

Cooled boiled water keeps me going when I have to do this, seems the heat fills me up.

And you'll be out for a YUM lunch :)

Off to bed loungers, sleep well.

I lost the remote control for the fire last week.

I think the world officially ended :(

Do you like any of the following, Ah_Yeah: tea/cats/cake?

Oh dear, Stheno- hope your leg improves asap. :(

Back to sadist/terrorist Tues., 8 days after a cortisone injection. I know the injections can be miraculous/do some good/do a little good/have no impact, but four days later I shouldn't be feeling worse!

Wouldn't mind but after him and the surgeon telling me not to overdo it, I've been careful, past few days have been horrendous, easily back to 6/10 level of pain I was at when first seen.

I spent yesterday in bed until 5pm rather than get up.

I thoroughly enjoy tea and cake.
I mostly like cat videos and cat pictures.
However, I feel I should learn to like cats more as I will inevitably be forever alone and living with them.

Hope your leg gets better soon Stheno, I wonder is it anything to do with the cold? Its been quite cold today.

Ah thanks :) Don't think it is to be honest, I've been told it's still a fair while before it will be fixed. I tend to have a breakthrough, then I stay like that for a while.

The cold does hurt, but has since I hurt it, just this weekend, it's been awful to the point of me not wanting to go to bed as I've to climb the stairs.

I'll get there though, back to work now next week, as in going into the office so interesting to see how that goes.

Sounds rotten :( hope you can get some good drugs for the pain :p and hope it will heal permanently, quickly!

    Don't read this Ah_Yeah:
I just had smoked salmon on brown bread as a midnight snack. I could get really used to it and we have a huge amount of it in the fridge.

In other news. Everyone's gone to bed, there's no-one to yell at me should I need to leave my room, so I'm going to try putting makeup on for the first time. Hopefully I shall look like a roide, but I'd settle for pretty. :P

Not a huge fan of seafood normally, but that sounds DELISH right now :(

I've loads of drugs, the really strong ones I tend to not take as they make me really dopey and don't do much for the pain, it's like being in pain less, but in the twilight zone.

If the ****ing pain would go away I'd be fine

Sick of the damned pain, last weeks injection which should kick in this week is supposed to deal with that.

I've great colleagues though, I'll get any help I need from them when I go back, really helps when thinking about it.

God, I really want tea and cake now. Nom nom.
Ending up alone with cats is my plan. I luff cats. I get along with them better than most human boys. And even if I found a boy I could tolerate being around for more than a week, women live longer then men, so cats are my plan B. ;)

My beautiful cat died just over a week ago. He was the most important (and usually only) man in my life since I was 14. I adored my boy and cried for several days. I'm still devastated.
This January has been miserable. :(

My aunt got an injection for a heel spur a while back and it actually made the pain worse for a week, like worst pain ever, but now she's no problem with it!

    Maybe that's what happens?

Get it checked if you're unsure though!!

Ah Posy. So sorry to hear that, cats can be such loving, gorgeous little creatures, while not looking for much in return :(

Yeah, one thing I'm really lucky with is that my physio and surgeon are all part of the same team, so if I arrive in more crippled then my last appointment when I got the freedom of one crutch, physio will tell surgeon.

It's been bad since about a day after the injection, and I'd the same thought, that the stuff the injection was (in laymans terms) wandering around settling, so I have to wait, it's a week tomorrow, and seeing physio Tues which is reassuring.

Just a pain being in pain (no pun intended) even while taking 15 painkillers/antiinflammatories a day!

I'm up late writing and was spacing out listening to music in the background when a new song came on and the singer's first bit is this sudden creepy whisper.

Scared me half to death. I thought it was the end.
