I had no choice but get up. I was in bed since about 3pm yesterday. I was wondering why my bed was so comfy in general and I think it's because I left the heater on. And I was so cold and tired because I slept on a friend's couch.

    Omg that would be awesome!

I stopped riding because I got a horsey which wasn't properly broken in and it shattered my confidence, I could barely handle him. Even though I could handle every other horse in the stable :( Then finally at a showjumping thing I could feel him ready to go nuts and he reared at the end, I didn't get straight back on... that was that. Been back on a few times since but that was it. I'd say after an hour or so of going around a quiet arena I'd be ok :)

    That's totally understandable though!
In the Summer the horses go out to the field almost every day and so even the ones that would normally get excited are really chilled out! My horse isn't though - she bucks and rears and takes off all the time

Yeah she gets better every day, I'm used to it cause I mainly work with young horses. She's only a baby and still learning, she was so funny yesterday freaking out at all the snow!

I have never been on a horse, barely been near one, after a horror story from my mum about what happened her with one when she was a teenager.

Pixiebean you're in an alternate universe today I think, wind, hailstones, crazy rain showers here all night and still going on now, very dark outside.

    What was the story?
I had a few fun falls, horse on top of me, thrown into a wall, hand stepped on... lol

Just dropped my plate and glass and everything went flying everywhere
I think I better just stay in bed today

I like horses and used to go riding, western style, when I was younger but I am allergic to horses. I can ride okay without reacting too badly but as soon as I start grooming and kicking up the dander I get really sick. :(

Horse got spooked by a motorbike, mum fell off but her foot got caught in the stirrup. The horse kept running, and mum was dragged a mile along a gravel road with the back of her top riding up to her shoulders, so her back was torn to shreds, took months to heal, she had to stand all her waking hours for 2 months,
sitting tore all the scabs open again
. Lying to sleep every night was agony. That story stuck in my mind, was never gonna go near them! Mum herself says it was her own fault because that horse was crazy and she shouldn't have taken her out.

Internet not working at home since yesterday evening. Working this weekend. Had to come over to my sister and now have a two year old shoving plastic plates and cups in my face while I work.

Judging by the state of our yard (shame :o ), it was very windy last night and still is but it's sunny and mild other than that :D

I wasn't there- my avatar locked me in the cellar then went along and impersonated me. Apparently she got I on well with Ella and Ah_Yeah and I iz all jealous now.
She always does things like this because we have an arrangement that she will get older and I will never age, in a Dorian Grey type scenario.

Will have to rectify this not talking asap- I seen you though, if you were the girl wearing blue.

Hmmm... Pem was braped? By whom I wonder... :pac:
