Can anyone tell me when the bank details have been entered do they notify before they pay or is it a case of just checking the bank on and off?

You should get a letter confirming payment

Do you got all the payments you're supposed to get in one?
As in Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec and Jan in one payment?

Yeah, should be back dated, either one huge sum or they'll divide it evenly between the rest of the months.

Either way would be pretty sweet.

I'm still waiting for the social welfare office to send me a statement of what I got from them. It's getting ridiculous at this stage, harder and harder to get by. I'll have to start hounding them to try get something sorted.

Is there a point where it gets too late to finish the application?

AFAIK earnings outside term time can be excluded (Summer, Christmas, Easter). Might be worth checking that out.

Do you think that they made a mistake? maybe you could appeal it?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Mine took about two months but there was less staff then and less pressure on them to hurry things up.

Anyone know the best way to contact them about payment. Is there a different email. Put bank details in 2 weeks ago and still waiting.

I have found Facebook to be the quickest way to get a reply about anything. We haven't dealt with payment though :(

How long were you waiting to hear regarding your appeal ?

Got approved a few days ago, bank details entered so waiting now for payment to come through. I hope it does not take too long.
They requested additional documents from me, upon sending them in I got a letter a week later saying approved (to give others a time frame).
