Maybe all the long motorway trips down to our place are artificially boosting the long term average :p

Possibly, when is the next trip?

Leave it until the end of next week. I will be off sliding down mountains in Austria from this coming Thursday until Wednesday 31st.

35 or so mpg from a 03 C3. I'm not exactrly light footed though so its not too bad. Highest I seen on that german site is 42mpg.

Never really sat down to figure out my MPG properly, but after a quick calculation now, I reckon around 21mpg is what I'm seeing, with 90% urban driving.

2013 Audi A3 1.6TDI 105 with less than 1000 km on the clock - averaging 6.8 l/100km or roughly 42mpg. Mostly city driving with just one motorway run. I expect it to slide south to be closer to six once engine properly runs in.

Astra GTC. Between 32 and 43 MPG, based on the last 8 fills.

8.5 l /100 km .....no idea what the mpg is ... Clocks in miles , fuels in litres .... :)
Pretty chuffed with that in a 2 litre Renault trafic fridge van , carrying a fair bit of weight.... All dual carriageway / main road.... New years resolution is to keep the speed down all too easy to be doing 130 kph everywhere, and don't feel it in the van.

How are you calcuating that, wouldn't it be closer to 80 mpg, at best?
Not that 80 mpg is a bad thing!

I know what you're asking and maybe I should have explained it better.

The Leaf is quoted as having a MPGe the (e) meaning equivalent of 99 mpg.

Where I got the 194 mpg is because it would take a normal petrol or diesel car to get 194 mpg to cost the same as the Leaf to run.

But I don't exactly know how they got the 99 MPGe number. To be honest that's not what people care about, only the cost to run.

Unfortunately not, I did take one for a test drive. It was really nice to drive, even if you would never buy one it's well worth while test driving one.

40-45 mpg according to the display in a 2.2 diesel on motorway driving
Can go as low as 32 depending on how I drive it on minor roads.

    No.
    Ergo the username?

Was sure a Honda Accord would actually be more economical when I bought it. Grand on the motorway and long runs but not great on shorter spins.
