24 hour gym?

Do they exist in the Dublin? Preferably around stillorgan or the dun laoghaire area. Nothing too complex, something nice, simple and cheap. Cheers!

AFAIK they tried this out in the Fitness Dock a few years ago and it just didn't take off.

I reckon this would do well in somewhere like RAW or IronHouse. Gyms close annoyingly early in ireland. If your a member of Old Wesley Rugby Club you can buzz in anytime. Dont think its great tho!

staff costs money, as does lighting and heat

if the place isn't being used, it doesn't pay to keep the place open

Yes, 24/7, all year. My home, and the pavements to run outside.

How does the gym operate with no staff? Who opens/closes/supervises entry/exit?

Yeah but if you slip and fall in your home it's your own darn fault! If you slip in the gym then the owner is liable and a hefty insurance pay out.

Stayed in a few hotels on business trips with those " gyms" that are really just rooms with the beds unscrewed from the headboards & a running & rowing machine and a few weights out in. They do stay open to " residents" all night thou ( typically) - you get in on a swipe card.

Have you tried local hotels ? Manager might be able to sort something out for you . I did something like that once. Folk can be good web they see you & get to talk to you in person. You'd need to leapfrog the lower levels thou - they'd just say no IME.
