    What has any of that got to do with flouride? You know for someone arguing against flouridation and posting reams of text I've seen sfa that actually backs up anything you're saying.

    Fluoride kills brain cells and makes us docile,and ill. A good means to control a large population.

    It has everything to do with it.

    is there scientific proof?

    I heard a rumor that public houses all over Ireland are selling a substance that has been proven to kill brain cells...

    still going with this ya chestnut :rolleyes:
    this has been busted and debunked time and time again, even in this thread, there are threads over in conspiracy forum which have been mentioned here,

    mods why is this still going
    :confused:

    Yes, that is true, Alcohol is very destructive and socially very accepted in our society. Are we surprised to hear that? There is a clear distinction in difference here with fluoridation. Fluoride is a poison that is dumped into our water without our choice, drinking alcohol is totally your own choice. That's the point so many are trying to make here. I don't agree with the drunken society we have either, but that's for another debate.

    Besides any beer manufactured in this country, will have fluoride added to beer, so there you have double the brain killer effect.

    It hasn't been debunked, and there are many people coming to this thread to talk about removing fluoride from their bodies. The people defending fluoride can't even argue against it anymore. The same way you have no argument either.

    all it took was reading a few links posted here, and not the ones on the boloxologyjournal.com journal I mean ;)
    honestly just wear your tinfoil hat and you will be immune to the 'poisin'

    Perhaps this debate isn't for you? If fluoride is ok to drink, sure no one is stopping you from drinking it.

    Google the word fluoride, and poison will probably come up on most links. Google images, and all you see is images of toxic waste and skull and bones labels.

    The tin foil hat insult doesn't really affect me, it's a broken record used term for ignorant people to use on people for using their brains. Which to me is kinda ironic and revealing. Don't think just wear a tinfoil hat. erm... whatever... :rolleyes:

    you seem to have missed the part in the thread where it was pointed out that almost everything is a poison in high enough doses
    thats why we have moderation [well the word anyway not moderators] and things are best taken in it. its been shown time again that levels of....anyway enough

    obesity =excess of food/calories
    overdose of otherwise safe pills = organ damage/death
    overdose of drugs = death
    overdose of energy vs hydration = dehydration/death
    overdose of salt = death

    see the pattern emerging here..

    The average person probably swallows more fluoride from toothpaste accidentally (brushing 2-3 times a day) than by drinking it in water. Should we ban fluoride based toothpaste too?

    Obseity is a choice,
    Drugs is a choice,
    Jumping off a cliff can kill you too, but that is a choice.

    fluoride isn't
    and it's actively dumped and put into our food supplies to drug us and poison the brain.

    We are a very doped, drunk and drugged nation. I believe we have the second highest cancer rate in Europe, if not the world.

    You'er are clearly missing the point.

    The truth is the this world is finished, it's down the potty, and the elite have poisoned it's people for greed, power and selfish means. The sad part is, the innocent are victims.to all of this, and this is why justice needs to be done.

    But I can tell you this much, I ain't going down on any sinking ship and no one is going to get anything from me. No one is going to poison me or tell me what to do, how I should do it or what to do with my life.

    Waking up, is about taking back your free will, and the only way to do that, is to start becoming aware of yourself and who you are. We have free will, When we become aware, we understand we have free choice at all times. We do not have to submit in fear to anyone. We do not have to abide by this system or live in this prison. We don't need to drink fluoridated water. The elite do not care about us just as they care no more about your teeth.

    The pineal gland is what they are trying to kill, because the elite, know exactly what this gland is capable of doing.

    The strong will survive and get through this, that is the the reality and the elite can rot in hell with the hell they have created here.

    You are nuts. What "elite" are you talking about? Are you telling me Enda Kenny is pulling the wool over the nations eyes because he's part of some conspiracy with other politicians? Who else is involved? Cowen? Bertie? I bet it goes all the way back to Michael Collins and De Valera himself does it?

    I heard a rumor that public houses all over Ireland are selling a substance that has been proven to kill brain cells...
    It's a public health service.

    “Well, you see, Norm, it’s like this. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it’s the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.

    In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.

    And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.”

    The point is completely being missed here. Anyone can easily switch their toothpaste. There are plenty of alternatives that don't contain Fluoride. Also, a lot (most?) toothpastes containing F have warnings or warning labels. The point about water fluoridation is that we can't easily switch our water supply, and a lot (most?) people aren't even aware that their water contains F. This should be really easy to grasp. The fact that toothpaste accounts for so much of our fluoride exposure is another reason to stop fluoridating the water.

    The point about everything in the right doses being toxic doesn't have much value here.

    I am sure they are getting fluoride in many things.
    Australia and New Zealand do and they are right behind Ireland.

    It still doesn't negate that fluoride isn't harmful and that is the point, and it should be very alarming that we have the second highest cancer rate in the world. Especially since we live on a sparsely populated country, don't have pollution at levels most Eu countries have.

    And what does cigarettes have?, fluoride and so does Alcohol. But we all already know alcohol is harmful to us. You're correct Jma, people are missing the point and some are deliberately trying to undermine the point, for malicious self serving reasons, or perhaps some people cant face the truth and dont mind self destructing themselves.

    Fluoridation should be stopped immediately.

    Shocking to tell you the truth.

    If you were to drink the same amount of pure alcohol as some people consume over a lost weekend you will die. It is a poison. Dentists use it to kill nerves.

    At low doses it's a food and there is much evidence to show that in moderation it has health benefits.

    The problems with alcohol are in the most part caused by physical and psychological addiction.

    There are lots of different types of cancer with different causes.

    Here is an atlas that shows regional variations in the rate of cancer in different parts of the island. Any statically significant link to flouride would have shown up long ago. ( Do you have granite in your house, are you fond of bananas ? )

    http://www.qub.ac.uk/research-centres/nicr/Publications/AllIrelandReports/ and
    http://www.ncri.ie/atlas/atlas_contents.shtml
    The first all-Ireland cancer atlas, which will be published on December 9th by the National Cancer Registry and the Northern Ireland Cancer Registry, shows major unexplained variations across the island in the risk of most common cancers. The atlas shows that in the period 1995-2007:

    Coastal and urban areas had a significantly higher risk of both types of skin cancer;
    Bowel cancer was more common around Cork city and in a band across the north of the island;
    Lung cancer risk was higher in urban areas—Belfast, Dublin, Derry and Cork—and in the east
    Prostate cancer risk was much higher in the Republic of Ireland than in N. Ireland
    Stomach cancer risk was highest in a band running from Dublin to Donegal;

    The risk of many cancers was related to the level of socio-economic deprivation in the area.

    Lung, stomach, head and neck and cervical cancer risk was higher in areas of high unemployment or low educational attainment, while skin, breast and prostate cancer risk was lower in these areas.
    Cancer risk was higher in more densely populated areas.
    Cancer risk was higher, for many cancers, in areas with a higher proportion of elderly people living alone.

    Ah, reductio ad Hitlerum at last.

    Reductio ad Hitlerum is an informal fallacy that consists of trying to refute an opponent's view by comparing it to a view that would be held by Adolf Hitler or the Nazi Party. It is a tactic often used to derail arguments, because such comparisons tend to distract and anger the opponent, rather than make a valid point. "Hitler loved animals, therefore anyone who loves animals is a Nazi!"

    The violin will be out next capt'n.
    Beating around the bush won't get you anywhere. The topic is well and truly done. They are dumping it in our water against our free will. Fluoride is harmful and it's poisonous. The more you argue it, the more people will become suspicious. You cannot stop the truth. The system can rot to the ground and it's already happening.

    You wouldn't want to try wrestle or manipulable a being with an activated pineal gland let me tell you.

    That s exactly what the elite are afraid of and that is exactly why the elite and the Nazis started to contaminate our food and water supplies back in 1945 with this chemical and many other chemicals they put into our foods.
