    Reddit SCOOPS
For those that know me, you will know I am somewhat buddy-buddy with Jason Powell of Prowrestling.net

Now, I know he may not be Dave Meltzer in terms of getting the big scoops - but according to him, he has a source on the inside (actually one of the boys), who has informed him of major plans for tomorrow's Raw and the weeks/months ahead, leading up to Mania..

Apparently, Brock Lesnar is flying in for the Raw show tomorrow night. Whether he will appear on the show or not is unknown at this time, but at the very least he will be recording some promo spots for the next month or two, as he begins his feud with...
    .. The Rock!

Apparently an angle will either begin tomorrow night or within the next few weeks/the Rumble itself, in where Lesnar will attempt to/succesfully break Rock's arm with the Kimura. There have been rumours of this for months now, but Jason's source tells him that plans have been put into full gear the last 2 weeks after the dismal 2.2 rating, which has supposedly lit a fire under Vince Mcmahon and he is pissed at the current roster.
Also, he does not know whether or not this feud will be for the WWE title, but he says Vince is leaning towards putting the belt on Rock at the Rumble, thus leading to Lesnar-Rock for the title at Mania in the main event.

Expect this to be posted at his site sometime in the next 6-8 hours, sometime before midnight EST, as he is trying to confirm it with a couple of other sources before posting to the VIP or main site areas. Jason is well known for not posting bullheaded spoilers without trying to get more confirmations first, like guys such as Dave Meltzer do (thus giving him a bad rep), which is why I trust him a lot. Also, if you don't think you can trust him - he is the guy who broke that Sheamus was winning the Rumble last year.
I'll keep you updated as and when I get more info.

Interesting. Would that match fall flat tho ala Brock/Goldberg as the fans will know that once WM is over both men are out the door? Which also leaves the question can it really be for the WWE title if neither man will be around after WM?

    The lifeboat has set sail

Ludicrous decision. No guarantee Brock will stick around after his Mania pay day and Rock will still have to do all his movie/media work which will make a mockery of any broken arm angle.

The only good think will be that the WWE Title will not be defended on every PPV, maybe allowing the Tag or IC title to headline a show.

Don't mind the idea but I think it'd be unnecessary for the title to be involved. I think the feud would be better served if Brock cost The Rock the belt at the rumble.

    that's too logical though.

Brock v Rock in a Grudge Match.
    Punk v Undertaker - Streak v 500-day title run.

    it makes sense people!

Broke the story of Sheamus winning the rumble....that was painfully obvious. I'm calling BS on this for the simple reason if he 'breaks' his arm shouldn't the Rock stay at home and you know miss some of the 7 tapings wwe have him booked up for.

I have to admit i Have no interest in any of the Lesnar matches being mentioned.

    Lesnar Vs Rock
    Lesnar Vs Taker
    and especially Lesnar Vs HHH

Just put him in a match with Ryback and have Ryback win. At least it will give a boost to an up and coming wrestler (especially if Lesnar dosent renew his contract) rather than any of the above beating him which wouldn't really do anything in the long run.

I'm not even a big Ryback fan but id like to see anyone pushed at this stage.

I think you are rewriting history especially in terms of the Wrestling media.

If that was the Rumble in Randys hometown, I was sure at the time that Orton was going to win it.

You can't fault the arm break logic though. What would happen to the Rumble match then or Rock on poster for the chamber. Whatever about a feud the arm break suggestion seems a bit much.

Did it not says attempts to break his arm?? Can see him not getting the job done and the rock being pissed.

And that's a big problem. The Kimura takes literally a few seconds to snap an arm. Not the several minutes it seems to take Lesnar.

I know how a kimura works. It should take seconds but some people put on truely heroic kimura defences. I seen one where a guy was locked in more than once and still managed to escape.

The problem with Brock vs anyone is you can't have anyone be the strong guy that overpowers it

he is pissed at the current roster.

This part got me. Because it's obviously all the roster's fault for the poor ratings? I think can only blame them for agreeing to go along with some of the ideas.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,787 ✭✭✭Jayob10

i'll be shocked if we don't see HHH v Lesnar at WM.

Simple reason being theres no way HHH won't avenge his defeat last year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,166 ✭✭✭Beefy78

Do you really think HHH cares about stuff like that these days? He's not an active performer and I'm sure he's far more concerned with the success of the product than with his own win vs loss record.

imo tonight brock will return to save punk losing to ryback in the tlc match and keep his title.

when those two are beating ryback, rock comes down to rescue him to set up rock vs brock at mania

He blamed the writers a while back too, Vince is never going to blame himself now is he?

The whole organisation needs a shake up. For example, the number of times they could have turned Cena heel in the last couple of years (Nexus, embracing hate) and he's still the same yawnfest bar the odd rant and rave here and there. Turn him heel.

CM Punk needs to remind McMahon publicly about the "douchebag yes-men" that he surrounds himself with :pac:

I really think its too late for a Cena hell turn.Hope im wrong tho

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,116 ✭✭✭starviewadams

Cena is the WWE's only full time mega over babyface superstar, would be absolutely retarded if they turned him heel and had nobody to replace him.

I highly doubt that Rock/Brock Mania plan too.Brock/HHH and Cena/Rock for the title is still my prediction.

Yes. Id be shocked if he dosent get that win back against Lesnar.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,478 ✭✭✭✭gnfnrhead

If Cena turns heel, who is going to take the babyface spot? Miz? Del Rio? Orton is the only person even close and he is far better as a heel. Maybe Sheamus but I think he is still quite a bit behind.

Daniel Bryan would be my pick. He's like a modern day Eddie Guerrero and he's by far the most over star on the roster atm.

Brock/HHH and Cena/Rock for the title is still my prediction.

But that's two rematches from 2012, and would seriously negate my interest. Even if Taker vs Punk was booked alongside that, I couldn't see WrestleMania reaching the 1 million mark with two out of the three main event matches we've already seen in the past 12 months.

Rock Vs Bryan and Rock Vs Ziggler aren't money matches though. As for Rock and Brock, it should be Brock and Undertaker but I guess that would mean Rock would have to wrestle Cena again wouldn't it.
