Just wondering why cats poo is acceptable and dog poo ain't?
I've never once seen anyone pick up after their cat or horse (I know horse poo is wonderful for roses though, that lovely scent) for that matter. What about Fox poo? It drives my dog crazy as Bat****.
    What gives peeps?

    My cats bury their poo.

    My dog would eat it.

    Cats win.

It would be kinda hard to follow Mr Tibbles along back walls, through hedges, under fences etc with a pooper-scooper.

    That's why.

Because a cat dowsnt squat down in the middle of the footbath and leave a load the size of a small bowl.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

it isn't, plain and simple but people who have cats generally don't give a **** and let them wander freely anyway so they're hardly going to clean up after them

horse poo is the councils problem and being veg based is less risky to people health. this dates back to when horses were the main transport mode and has never been changed (apart from Kerry and horse nappies)

foxes are wild animals and therefore the councils problem also in public or your problem on your property.

Cat sh!t is the most disgusting substance on earth. Especially when the bastards bury it in the turf. Filthy, horrible animals.

Unfortunately I've stepped in way to much dog poo.

I've never stepped in cat poo.

    Cats win hands down.

I can't imagine the problem you must be having with cat poo OP. Unlike dogs, and I'm a fan of dogs so don't get me wrong, cats dig a hole, take a crap and cover it back up. They're little geniuses, unlike dogs who'll stop, squat and pop one out no matter where they might be.

Toxocariasis. It's a gastrointestinal parasite in dogs that sheds eggs in the digs faeces, and if ingested can cause uniocular blindness in children. With 1 in 100,000 people affected in Ireland we have one of the highest rates of it in the world so its important for people to clean up after their dogs.

While Toxoplasmosis is a concern in cats, generally only pregnant women and the immunosuppressed are at risk, plus cats are quite sanitary in faecal matters and do it in a private-ish place.

I don't know many people with pet horses or foxes but I'd imagine the pooper scooper would be fairly hefty for the former.

I recently found out that cats are the only animal to domesticate themselves. They basically hung around farms when humans first settled down into permanent settlements, as it was an easier source of food.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/06/28/AR2007062802343.html?hpid=topnews

    TL;DR - Cats domesticated humans.

You make it sound like it's a parasite only found in dogs, it's roundworm and it's way more common in cats.

Cats are vermin, stinking creatures and their owners are just as bad for letting them roam free.
