Because RVP is the ONLY reason they are going to win the league and more this season and thats just wrong in my book :(

I agree but again Arsenal's policy is to maximize profit. We should have sold him to Juve for 8m.

What was worst about the deal for me was as a club we conceded defeat before the season even began. We should never be bullied and it seemed like we had gotten used to being picked on as the wounded animal.

Exactly. We informed the world that we're a selling club with little ambition and we started the campaign in a minus position. Meanwhile RVP is heading for 30+ goals and Man Utd for the EPL title as a result. Worse still it might mean that we fail to get 4th place and as a result lose a huge amount of money which would negate the transfer money. Utter madness.

It was a diabolical decision, completely mind boggling. Proved money is the clubs motivation once and for all.

Nervous about it. I'd love to win the FA cup this season, there's no doubt that we have the quality to do it, but it depends on which Arsenal turn up. Don't give a **** Arsenal or cavalier 7 goals forget about defending Arsenal. I hope its the latter.

It will be a very difficult cup match. Swansea have a good record against us. We will probably do well to get a draw. Hope we are at full strength. We need to go into the game with a good mentality and focus from the start. I think Diaby is back too and might play some part.

I didn't read the whole article but it's actually nice to see Mourinho come out and have a go at Wenger. Nothing worse than seeing Fergie giving Wenger a patronising pat on the back in the press.

I think this is the first year in a long time where we haven't got a player who is the best in his position in the league. :(

He is not even top 5 in his position, his attacking contribution is actually quite poor, and rarely crops up with a goal.

He has a lot to prove before he can be considered a top player.

Sad but true at the moment we have one person close to been the best in his position that's santi, but he is too inconsistent to be picked

No one else comes close at the moment

That Toby Alderweireld lad looks promising. Belgium are producing some pretty good players these days. Makes sense to get someone relatively young for strengthening the defence as they'll be happy to be understudy to Kos/TV & Mert for now and if they turn out to be the real deal in a couple of years all the better. I don't want the same approach if he decides to buy any attacking/midfield players though, we need someone who can walk straight into the team for those positions.

Would love us to go for the lad Isco off Malaga only 20 years of age and would easily walk straight into the team, although in saying that we really have too many players that play wide or are attacking midfielders unless we offload Gervinho, Arshavin etc. which is highly unlikely. We should also go for Luke Shaw he looks better than Gibbs already and hes only a pup. I reackon if we buy this lad off Ajax he will push Vermaelan into a DMF role which I think he'd be better at than the job he does in the centre of defense.

Walcott on the left, Ramsey on the right? Or 4-4-2 with Caz and Ramsey out wide and Giroud and Walcott up front?

    Is Oxo injured?

Jebus we REALLY need to get more wide players in.

Say it will be Ramsey left, Walcott wide
With like to see 442 tried or at least Ramsey in the middle with jack and santi wide

    Ox is on the bench

Really? Name 5 CMs better than him in the league. I'd have Yaya Toure and maybe Ramires. Cabaye maybe?

In saying that its not much of an achievement, there are very few good cms in the league atm.

Also that's the most misleading headline ever on the Mourinho article!
    The actual quotes:
"I would love to have [Wenger's] stability at a club," he told The Sun.

"But at the same time I think for my mentality I also need the pressure to succeed - and if no one imposes that pressure on me then I would impose that pressure on myself.

"The pressure to win things. Yes it's possible to be one or two seasons building for the future and not being at the level to win things, but no longer, because my mentality is I always need the pressure of winning things.

"So far this season Arsenal have been up and down - they're good and not so good.

"They are not in the top four but they have always finished in the top four so you can say 'Why not again this season?' But it will be tough. They will be fighting with Tottenham, Chelsea and Everton so it will be very difficult.

    The actual quotes:

At the moment and I stress at the moment these are some midfielders I believe could offer more than jack.

    Dembele
    Piennar
    Osman
    Carrick
    Gerard
    Diame(injured)
    Ramires
    Toure
    Cabaye.

As I said jack has the potential but he needs to be more consistent,he has one great game then next game he gives the ball away every second pass.He is only back from injury but I just think you can't criticise him because he is a fans favourite.

I think hes been very consistent but I guess its a matter of opinion. Diame would be good in our midfield to add balance but I'd have him over Arteta rather than Jack. I wouldn't take Osman or Pienaar in CM either. The others are close calls for me apart from Toure.
