He knows nothing about sport so he shouldn't be on that show
To be fair, Jack Whitehall is more knowledgable than Georgie "if it ain't F1, I don't have a notion!" Thompson.

I love Jack Whitehall. He's great on A League Of Their Own. Love James Cordon too but I can't stand Jonathan Ross. He's grand when he's interviewing people but I don't think he's that funny. Looking forward to the show now.

Not much chance of getting rid of Ross either unless he gets bored with it as it is his production company that makes it

Richard Ayoade and Gabby Logan are/were the other two panellists. Gabby is not that funny, but I glad it is not Miranda Hart or Sarah Millican. I do not find Ayoade to be that funny, but he has his moments on these shows. Still looking forward to the show though, always a good laugh. Hope to see a return for Mr. Blobby.

You wouldn't call her that if you'd ever watched the F1 on Sky.

I just hate when teams purposefully get answers wrong to be funny. Yeah, if you don't know the answer, say something funny. But to do it from the start and throughout is just annoying.

Noel Fielding and Russel Brand did that brilliantly one year (and ended up winning due to being given 25 points or something near the end). Since then it seems like everyone tries to copy it but fail miserably. They were together again the next year but didnt try copy it, I imagine they knew they couldnt do any better so left it alone. Shame others dont think the same way and try to copy it.

I'm hoping for some good teamings this year. The last two or three years havent been up to much in that regard. Always (at least) one team that makes you wonder who thought they worked well together.

Jack is pretty funny, but Richard and whatserface are the annual cringy, annoying team.

That Gabby woman is making me cringe terribly :( doesn't have the slightest bit of humour.

Jack Whitehall is making up for it though, he's gas!

    Gabby Logan?

What, was every other comedian in the world busy?

Jesus, I know they have to have a woman on it, but come on...

Awful so far anyway from the rest of them. Richard Ayoade is the only thing keeping me watching.

Really? They were the reason it was so unfunny?

C'mon.. whether or not you're a fan of them... Richard, Jack and James felt like the only ones attempting to inject any comedy into the whole thing.

Russell Howard (who I think is excellent on Good News) was horribly unfunny and simply recycled jokes from his show (the 'Fifty Shades' Bit), Jonathan Ross had maybe 2 funny lines all night and the less said about Gabby Logan, the better.

I usually don't mind Jack Whitehall but tonight it bored me.

His lack of knowledge of Sport is part of his charm.!

Hes an Arsenal fan. I think he pretends to not know about or be into sport as part of poshing it up.

I like Whitehall in anything I've seen him in.

Richard ayoade is an hilarious man! Everything he says floors me :L

Agree with others that Richard, Jack and James held the show up.
No idea what the hell gabby logan was doing on there, maybe someone canceled? But she was useless and the other 2 were less than stellar.
Kinda dissapointing as i always look forward to it but last 2 years have been a bit meh.
The constant going for funny answers things is annoying and the gabby "class swot" logan approach is equally as bad, maybe they could try thread a bit of a middle ground ala David Walliams and Rob Brydon managed when they were on a few years ago

jack was good but i thought james was a bit annoying, jack didn't get much of a chance to speak because of him....Richard was hilarious though :) I thought something like the line up for the big fat quiz of the nineties would have been better, with dara o briain, and even claudia winkleman and denise van outen were funnier than gabby imo :/

Thought it was very poor, whitehall is just not funny - corden was badly affected by him, crass humour all night is no good - is that all they have to offer.
ayoade's dumbness only works for so long then he got boring.

Sickened that I missed it, can't be that great though with the absence of Noel Fielding and Russell Brand (although Richard Ayoade is a brilliant man).

What did Jack Whitehall say that was so abhorrent?

Not a whole lot... jokingly insinuating the Queen possibly contracted a STI seems to be the one most mentioned.
