Guinness has been long associated with GB in my household - the other half gets chronic Guinness Bum (i.e. stinky stinky farts) after a session on the black nectar...nears brings blood to the eyes.

Nice to sip a pint of Guinness, Beamish, Murphys or a pint of Porterhouse depending on the mood.

The odd pint of any stout is very nice indeed.

PS: Nothing wrong with Guinness, its a very nice stout.

    Larger - Belgium

Belgium has nothing to do with lager. They'd be known for their Trappist and abbey beers which aren't lagers. (Are there Trappist lagers?) And Trappist beers don't have one particular style at all. If there's a particular style of beer associated with Belgium separate to Trappist beers it would be a lambic.

And I'm not a stout/porter fan, but I have to give credit to The Dark (f)Arts for honesty in marketing.

Sure a lot of our own people say they hate this country. And have even gone on to leave it. Thats nothing new.
