    pizza?

I'd put a double cheeseburger from BK in the plan today, then ended up with an XL bacon doulbe cheeseburger meal. But it was post workout, so it was ok.

...who cares if the workout was bowling. I trained 3x today (GVT, 30min physio rehab, bowling).

Well you know all the glute activation work is paying off when you wake up the day after training SLDLs with incredibly isolated and intense glute DOMS!!!

What glute activation work are you doing?

Ah jeez my rehab protocol's 30mins long. Couldn't tell you all the stuff! Lots of "traditional" stuff like single leg hip thrusts and lying abduction tho.

Go to the Liberty Grill on Washington St for breakfast/brunch/lunch if you're staying another few days.

    Everything is amazing.

    -Gaelforce West
    -Started training hard again
-First ever 1.5x raw bodyweight bench

    -Best shape of my life
    -Lots of other crazy adventures

    Good year.

What's BDO and what do u mean when you say 'raw' bench? Does that mean no belt/lifting suit?

    BDO = audit firm

Raw bench = no bench shirt

    <<nah mean...>>

    Warm up
-watching first female 100kg RevFit DL :)

    GVT, Week 3, Day 3

    A1) Ring Dips:
    BW +5kg 10x10

    A2) Pendlay Row:

    B1) Dumbbell Bench:
    20kg 3x12

    B2) Ring Combo Row:

Good oul sesh. Bodyweight's up to 95kg, so the ring dips get exponentially harder each time. +7.5kg 10x8 next.

Pendlay's were fine and easy enough. Got straps so will start to add them in soon. Everything else was grand.

Bought a new hoover, hoovered gym, eat eggs and bacon. Back to the grind.

    <<if you let me....>>

    Warm up
    -physio RX'd stretching

    GVT, Week 3, Day 4

    A) Safety Bar Squats:
    60kg 10x10 w/ 60s recovery

    B) SSB Box Squats:
    80kg 5x5 w/ 60s recovery

    C1) Fat Bar Curlzz:
    25kg 10x10

    C2) Close Grip Bench:
    67.5kg 10x10 - 90s recovery between sets

Good day. Going to be VERY sore tomorrow. Delighted my leg's up to taking some squats. Means I can actually start to plan for comps in 2013. First up, IPO champs in Hercs in April.

PRobably going to end up having to cut to come in under 100kg. Didn't see that one coming :/

<<Tied to the testing of wills...>>

    Yesterday

    Warm up
    -eggs and bacon

    GVT, Week 4, Day 1

    A1) Bench:
    87.5kg 10x10

    A2) Fat Grip Chinzz:
    BW 10x9 - 90s recovery between sets

    B1) Ring Push Ups:
    3x12

    B2) Chest Supported Rows:
    10kg 3x12

I felt ROTTEN all the way thru this. I'd 3 hours of coaching under my belt and about 2,500kcal and a load of liquid in my tummy, so was never in a great place for it.

Benching was grand, chinzz were pretty much right at the limit. I'll go to 90 on the bench and 10x10 on the chinzz and decide where to take the latter from there. The assistance stuff was easy.

Then I bowled my best game ever - 184 w/ 3 strikes in the row and a 9 (almost got me a bagger!!).

    <<sing it out...>>

    Warm up
    -getting out of bed

    GVT, Week 4, Day 2

    A) SLDL:
    115kg 5x10 w/ 90s recovery

    B) SSB GMs:
    40kg 5x10 w/ 90s recovery

C1) Seated Fat Grip DB Curlzz:
    10kg DBs 10x11

    C2) Close Grip Floor Press:
    67.5kg 10x10 - 60s recovery between sets

Ehhh... Like I said last week, those SLDLs simply ain't agreeing with me. Shoulder can't support the weight for long enough. Will keep splitting the movements 50:50 as I feel the SLDL will be very beneficial for back thickness, hamstring strength and general being a beastness. Need significantly more weight on the SSB GMs but they hit my erectors like nothing I've done before.

Curlzz were easy, up to x12 next week, and probably 15kg DBs the week after. CG FP was again piss easy. Will just keep plugging away on them. Will hopefully run it all the way to 90kg 10x10 before starting IPO prep.

Starting a month long training course with LIA tomorrow. 30+ hours of coaching per week, 35 hours of college time, all the admin stuff of running a business and trying to hold training together for the next month and a bit. Things are going to be f*cking miserable.

    That's busy as fcuk.

    Good luck with it.

I did SLDLs on Thursday with a 5011 tempo. Top set of 102.5 x 6. Hammies still in ribbons!
Anyway, used a hook grip, but I hear you about about the shoulder, my left one's gimped

Yeah I counted there... 38 hours coaching, 35 hours lectures, my own training, all the admin side of a biz and commuting!! Mare.

    How'd you break yourself?

PL comp in limerick 18 months ago.
    Injury was misdiagnosed.
    Left shoulder.

Mark McCabe in sports med Ireland said it was ligament damage - lots of rehab.

And then I went & tore left pec aswell so not good.

Lolz. Yes to the first, no to the second.

I'm doing it because its the gold standard PT Course in Ireland and I want to plug any obvious gaps in my knowledge before pushing on to other CPD stuff.

I'm also on the hunt for a trainer or two to employ in RevFit so just seeing what's out there re:training!
