    Im unhappy with the lack of drama here. Theres just no buzz to get us all up on our feet and shouting and excited.
    Someone needs to be angry to get something going, sorry lads but its in C&Hs best interest.

    It's the Jizzlers not fight club, people can mention it in other forums. It's only meant to be a bit of fun after all.

    I have to admit though, I'm curious as to why someone with no other posts here felt the need to bring this to everyone's attention

    Unless you create a private forum and invite all C&H users to it just to vote for the Jizzlers, then no. There's no way to disallow certain users from voting in a poll.

    There are two options that I could think of.



    1. All votes are PM'd to the mods:
    Would certainly keep it to regular posters, but would be a complete pain in the arse to do the results tbh, especially since the awards are around Christmas time.
    I've seen how many people voted in each of the polls, and the thought of receiving that many PM's and having to manually tot up results is not something I would volunteer for.

    2. Make the votes public:
    Basically, the polls would be set up as normal, except you could see who voted for each person, and discount votes from people who've never posted.
    Not sure if the poll system allows for just the mods to be able to see who voted though.



    But the problem with both of those (aside from adding a whole lot of administrative hassle to the thing), and the whole "only C&H regulars can vote" thing, is that it only serves to make the forum a clique. It doesn't take into account that there are probably people lurking who have never, or will never post. It doesn't take into account that there are posters who never read the forum and only read certain threads (like STYA for example), who may want to vote in one specific category and who might find it daunting to PM a mod they've never dealt with before. Who are we (we as in regular posters) to say Anonymous_Generic_Username's opinion on "Best Taste in Music" isn't valid just because they're not a regular poster? They may very well read every post in STYA.

    And giving the impression that only those who post here every day are welcome is a bad idea in my opinion. We should be striving to get more people in, not putting up walls to keep them out.

    I was only thinking it might encourage interaction and activity in the forum, that's all, if people had to post at least once even in order to vote, even introduced themselves. (Probably seems like I'm bitter over votes or something now).

    You could bang it out in excel in no time, tbh. I'd even do it if you wanted. To keep it fair though, you'd want the PMs send to an account separate to an actual poster's account, viewable by mods as well as the votetoter.
