A young player with pace to burn. He has an eye for goal, left footed and direct.
he would improve liverpool massively, he is always going to be a bit more expensive because he is english.

Whenever he has been given a consistent run of games, he has scored goals.

people expect far too much from young players

He's simply not worth the English player Tax.

    Well he's a fan apparently.

Big difference between was a fan and is a fan.

I'm reading on Spox that Chelsea have inquired about Paolo Guerrero and Corinthians have said they want €36m!

Guerrero going to Chelsea would be funny, but for a €36m fee I would pi$$ myself laughing.

Lol at xabi Alonso joining united! :D

    why?
You never would have thought owen would have went to united.
For years we were told Torres loves ye so much and then went to chelsea.
Benitez was a legend for ye and for years we were told he would never come back to england unless it was liverpool.

i dont see why its so hard to believe.

Different really, when real madrid or barca come knocking on the door everyone wants that move so no fans have any gripes with him over it. The benitez point is invalid really. Itd be like ronaldo joining man city at the moment, neither im sure would even entertain the notion of making either move.

Anyways a liverpool fan cole and downing need to be sold for whatever we got and a good few, 4 or 5 of the reserves need to be loaned out as they strolled through the reserve league and need a bigger challenge.

Spunk all budget on a lethal goal scorer

if man city offered Ronaldo 400k a week, he'd fly the plane himself I'd say.

Dunno, Madrid can match whatever he gets offered anywhere really. They benefit from tax laws and you know, government writing off debts

Lot's of players like Ibra, Ronaldo etc. have terms in there deals that guarantees them a gross salary so the tax increase will effect Real Madrid/PSG not Ronaldo.

Owen was finished when he signed for UTD whereas Alonso is far from finished.

Looking like Pato and Robinho are next out the door at Milan.

Pato, in fariness, someone offering €20million for a player that injury prone, I don't know if I'd take their hand off accepting it or wait until the end of the season and hope he somehow get's right fitness wise again. So much talent but his hamstrings are made from paper or something. I'd say he has played less football in the last 2 years than Owen Hargreves!

Robinho will be a strange one... I'm not hs biggest fan but he's actually playing pretty well this season and even working for the team, which is very un 'Binho like. But again, if big money is offered, I'd take it.

Allegri and Galliani have both said that if both players go then "An important" player will be signed because Allegri needs 5 strikers, right now there is SES, Pazzo, Bojan, Niang, Pato and Robinho. So if they both go at least one needs to come in.

    Very different reasons.

Benitez owed us absolutely nothing. We ignored him when we sacked Kenny. He was well within his right to get back into football.

    Owen was always about Owen.

    Torres broke my heart.

    Alonso is different. (HE IS!)

Drogba being linked with Milan today, you'd imagine wages might be a sticking point but if we let Robinho and Pato go it could happen. Would love to see him move, would be a great strike partner for SES as well as being a massive character in the team after losing so many last summer.

Brazilian Football is able to hold onto its biggest stars these days, the country is in the middle of an economic boom at the moment. Some of them are ridiculously overpriced, like Guerrero & Neymar.

    Celtic

Transfer Budget: Unknown but its safe to say that we wont be making any marquee signings, the policy of buying unknowns and developing them will remain in place.

We only need 2 players, another attacking full back to provide proper competition to Izaguirre. Only seen rare glimpses of the 2011 POTY since breaking his ankle. Having Mulgrew, Ledley & Matthews as his cover isn't going to push him as he knows they are much preferred in other positions.

The other would be a left footed version of james forrest for the left wing. We have players that can cut inside from either wing but only direct options for the right wing in Forrest & McGeouch

Out: Blackman, McCourt, Rogne, Murphy & Stokes

All have questionable attitudes and/or fitness levels and wouldnt be missed much

I'm sure Oatsey knows this as he views a fair bit of South American football, namely Brazilian football as far as I recall. He's just laughing at the fees being mentioned given Gurrero's time and performances in the Bundesliga including his club, Hamburg.

i know he knows alot of football, im not trying to insult him but this is more of a general rant, its a case of clubs holding out for offers they wont refuse not their market value. i find it strange that certain types of price tags baffle people

The player for Hamburg was fairly average is all. Bit of a loose cannon too to put it lightly. Maybe he's developed into a cracking player all of a sudden. Haven't watching Corithinians since the Copa Libertadores earlier this past summer admittedly, and he only joined the club after they won it if I'm not mistaken. Didn't watch any of the World Club Cup neither.

and Nene, Robinho, Conca and Riquelme all linked with moves there. Great quality heading to Brazil.

He's lazy, selfish and he is hard to motivate. There was the car crash incident, then the fear of flying episode, then the one where he hit the fan with a water bottle. Every time he got subbed after a sh*t performance (90% of his games) he would walk straight by everyone and go down the tunnel sulking, not even acknowledging his team mate coming on. That being said, he has always been a top player for Peru and is loved there. He seems to always play better in South America so the move to Corinthians was a good one. I wouldn't pay 36 euro to sign him to a European club, nevermind €36m.

Also an Italian journalist "broke" the story of sneijder agreeing terms with spurs and its spread like wildfire.

Ha, but you get my point I'm sure. Those were just names off the top of my head that I'd think would improve Liverpool, If you're insistent on english players, buy Lallana.
