I once had a piss and a quick chat with Fredrick Aasbo, won't be known outside the motorsport world really. Actually he's not really famous unless your into motorsport.

Joe Strummer. Maybe not as famous as some of the folks mentioned here, but a million per cent cooler than any of them. Absolute gentleman, by the way.

Also when I lived in Berlin was renting a flat from a very well known TV news journalist. Well known in Germany of course, doubt many people here will know him though so I guess it doesn't count.

    Matt Lauer.

Seemingly he's very famous in America. He was filming a segment in Galway and I asked him what in the heck he was doing in Galway.

    Mel Gibson.

Twas on the set of Braveheart when I was a little kid. I didn't know who he was at the time but I had read somewhere or heard somewhere that battle scenes involving horses actually required the horses to die for real and I think I gave out to him angrily for killing the horses, so he demonstrated for me how the spears had a fake blood capsule in the head that would release on impact, and how the horses are trained to fall over.

    He was really nice :)

I met Kevin Bacon in a shoe shop in New York once. There was only me, him and his son in the room but I said nothing cause I was a bit star struck.

Oh and I met and spoke to Michael Flately but I like to keep that quiet...

Has to be a joke in there somewhere about this meeting and your paranoid delusions. I can't think of it though. :-(
