Romanian carol singers

Just had a knock on the door 5 mins ago (so 21.25) with 2 Roma Romanian kids (confirmed by the Guards) singing or trying to in their broken English sing a bunch of Chirstmas carols.
I asked were they from our estate and if not where they were from...and I then noticed that when I started asking the questions a big bald dude appeared at the bottom of my driveway.
I handed them €0.50 between them and then went to look out the bedroom window. I saw the big bald dude surrounded by about 6 kids, giving them directions and instructions as to what to do. I then rang the guards and they told me theyve had a few calls this evening about them.

Just thinking that this type of begging is getting worse.Anyone else experience this?

That they were Roma Romanian..when I said they werent Irish kids. I didnt know myself exactly where they were from...but the Guards have ahada number of complaints this evening about them.

So... the op opened the door, looked at them, proceeded to ask them questions, TALK TO THEM... and you are honestly asking him how he knew they were romanian?

TBH Im regurgitating what the Guards have said..I couldnt give a rats if they were Irish, English, Swiss or Chinese...calling at my door at half nine and pretending to be straight laced carol singers is not on...and then to watch their boss man domonstrate the correcvt money grabber tactics (i.e shove out 2 hands instead of 1) is a piss take!
