was browsing the net today and it appears that if you want something as simple as a novelty mug , you need to order it from the uk , ebay.ie seems pretty limited and appears to be merely a spin off of ebay.uk

Ireland is a very small country.

All this proves is that there are not many mugs in Ireland, which is a good thing.:)

If you ever list something on eBay.ie it is on UK as well and you can pay a little extra for it to be on the US site (.com). Just sellers wanting more exposure.

Well you won't get it delivered this side of Xmas, takes a while to personalise stuff. I've used this site before: http://www.gifts.ie/ideas/personalised-gifts (i don't have any connection with them!)

I think you'll find a lot of the stuff you buy come from places outside Ireland originally.

Not gonna happen mate. You'd be better off buying a plain white mug and writing whatever message on it yourself with some acrylic paint. Paint will come off in the dishwasher but at least the recipient will have something to unwrap and you can both have a laugh about it.
