was browsing the net today and it appears that if you want something as simple as a novelty mug , you need to order it from the uk , ebay.ie seems pretty limited and appears to be merely a spin off of ebay.uk

Ireland is a very small country.

All this proves is that there are not many mugs in Ireland, which is a good thing.:)

If you ever list something on eBay.ie it is on UK as well and you can pay a little extra for it to be on the US site (.com). Just sellers wanting more exposure.

Well you won't get it delivered this side of Xmas, takes a while to personalise stuff. I've used this site before: http://www.gifts.ie/ideas/personalised-gifts (i don't have any connection with them!)

Not gonna happen mate. You'd be better off buying a plain white mug and writing whatever message on it yourself with some acrylic paint. Paint will come off in the dishwasher but at least the recipient will have something to unwrap and you can both have a laugh about it.

FFS! Parcel motel collects it, then PM delivers it with in the same day. For example: You buy a mug tomorrow, sign up to parcel motel it will be their saturday at 7.00am. I really can't explain that any other way. It's fcuking sickening as well.

Read Here, Here and here. I'm not too sure about the details as I never used it myself. But seems legit. :)

How about you create a thread? I would be a lot more helpful to you. :) As that's all I know about it. :)

Was thinking parel motel here as well:

To be assured of pre Christmas delivery, your items will need to be received by Parcel Motel by 12 NOON on SATURDAY 22nd DECEMBER. This applies to both our receiving centres in Antrim and Finglas.

So if they can deliver before that you're good, should be possible within UK...

-edit- just saw that info was already in the links (next I WILL bother clicking them;-) sorry 'bout that...

Yup, just looking in the FAQ'S for that. But can't find it as I can only read 9.30pm or earlier. My brain is struggling to make this post even.

    Link anyway. >>> https://www.parcelmotel.com/how-it-works/faqs/

OP take a deep breath and have a read through these thread and make a thread in online buying and what ever it called. That's the only way you will get a definite answer. :)

I'm lucky, the company I work for has offices in the UK. So if I order something from the UK I can have it delivered to the UK offices. They send over any post that arrives for us by courier once a week.
It's handy, there's far more people that ship to the uk and the shipping is normally less.

BTW, I'm pretty certain I've seen stalls doing personalised mugs in Maynooth, Blanch and the city centre in the last week or two.
