Watching an old episode of HIGNFY atm and Ross Noble is a guest. He's considered to be a comedian but he's not very funny, is he?

I know it's all subjective etc; but.. c'mon. All he does is shake his stupid greasy lookin' head and shout in silly accents like an escaped mental patient. Does he even do standup? He only ever seems to pop up on QI and the like.

Russel Brand and Russel Howard are another two... they're not funny are they? Howard is one of the most irritating people I can imagine.

Is there anyone whose name does not begin with the letter R that you find completely impossible to listen to or watch?

And why do I keep watch Dave?

Noble tours a fairly incredible amount. He's been a constant hit on the comedy circuit for something like 20 years. He's good when he's good but it's all a bit stream of consciousness/prattling until he hits the right note.

Howard is atrocious, and so is that other guy off Mock the Week, Andy Parsons. He's less funny than the average guy on the street. All he can do is cock his eyebrow as a cue to let people know they should laugh.

I tried to watch a few different stand-ups recently and they were all pretty poor, save my favorite comedian. Stewart Lee. His new dvd is out. Carpet Remnant World. Treat yourself. I love the guy. Intelligent comedy, it's rare. I can't post just one link unfortunately.
