Ha ha! I concur, but it's the granny who wants me clean shaven. Says I'll look like a shiny new penny

Tell the granny that you like looking like a filthy coin.

Beards are a bit like your ex girlfriend, You want one, you get one and then you won't miss them until they're gone...

The world would be a better place if more men had beards.

It's like long hair on men, it doesn't suit all. Certain people though can pull off a real cool look.

I have both long hair AND a beard. Do I get extra manly points?

Depends on how the beard is styled. If it's just left growing without any shaping you end up looking like a caveman. I rather keep my beard short and neat.

They're fake. Look closely, you can see the wire loops behind their ears.

Any fool can grow a beard, it takes skill to shave like a man.

    This is manly.

    Beard ftw.
It's good to have something that you can stroke in public.

I keep it trimmed, because a fully "wild" beard doesn't suit me.

I decided to grow a full beard for the first time this winter, it was itchy for the first 2 weeks growing it but after that I didn't even notice it.

Keeps the cheeks warm on the winter mornings as well.

Nice to see from reading this thread that some women like men with facial hair as well.

Wouldn't be fond of beards on women tbh..

I go one day without shaving and the girlfriend complains that I'm giving her beard rash. I think she thinks that if I did grow a beard that I'd be gouging holes in her face with it.
