    Ok, so I might be able to have someone on the UK order this for me and they are coming home on the 22nd Dec. I have to think about it, only wanted the 8gb but the store only has the 16gb one in stock. Does anyone know if the 5-6 week ship eta is just 'by the latest' kind of thing and is there any chance this could ship this or next week?

    Impossible to say. Looks like the few N4s google shipped last week were in the 5-6 week orders and not those in the 1-2 weeks.
    (Hence the uproar on XDA).

    I ordered an N10 Friday before last, it was showing 1-2 weeks when ordered. I had it on the Wednesday.

    Right for those who had their orders cancelled you may still be able to order. My order was cancelled last week. I had set up a new gmail account while on tunnelbear, set parcel motel as delivery and billing address and used a BOI visa debit card. I submitted a scan of my passport and bank statement 5 days ago and today they have re-activated the gmail account even though my bank statement address doesn't match my billing address? I've ordered it again now but delivery time is 6-7 weeks so conceivably there might even be an Irish play device store by then!

    Order cancelled.

    But don't worry, I actually cancelled it myself, but then changed my mind!! But it took 4 days and moved to the next stage prior to cancellation.

    So much hassle! :(

    Just got an email saying my account was unlocked so I reordered. Seems to have gone through no problem. 6-7 week eta but waiting for Parcel Motel to open locally anyway so might be no harm

    Going to get one of the family to order it in Canada - works out 290e. So saving 67!

    Do you know if I get him to order for me, can he use my gmail details to place the order from there? The shipping and billing info will be his....

    I emailed them straight away as the money has left my account!!!

    It's ridiculous carry on for a phone! :D

    Christ now that is greedy. If you REALLY wanted one of these you could go up north and get one in an O2 shop or carphonewarehouse for around €500.

    My Brother in the US ordered mine during the week (Wednesday). At this time it had the "Ships in 5 - 6 weeks", but he actually got it 3 DAYS later! I'm not sure why or what went on, but I'm happy :D

    mine was ordered on the 6th i think when i was ordering it was showing 1 - 2 weeks shipping, i hope its not the 5 - 6 weeks. it would be nice to have it before christmas

    Mine was ordered from the US on the 27th with 2-3 week shipping, nothing yet! Hoping the girlfriend is just lying to me at this stage.

    Mine says 5-6 weeks. I've resigned myself to waiting about a month! If it comes before then, bonus! :)

    there is just 1 thing id like to know, my order is pending, does this mean im going to get the fone at some point in the near future or will they just turn around and cancel it in a few weeks. i dont mind waiting but at the minute im not sure if they will cancel the order or not, because i went through the parcel motel route.
