no sysytem currently formatted for use with one gamepad. buy a wii remote or wii u pro controller to combat the issue you have.

The Just Dance games don't use a dance mat. Just a Wii remote.

I love ninty but they rweally dropped the
ball with the wii-UPC connection issue.
The 3DS synced up in two minutes.
The 360 is wired so no issues.

all wii u games use the gamepad as deflaut controller

but zombiu, 007 legends and call of duty black ops, other fps games can use wii remote plus, classic controller or pro, wii u classic controller pro, or wii zapper as secondary options

but fighting games can use wii remote plus, classic controller or pro, wii u classic controller pro, wii arcade beatemup controller as secondary options

but racing games can use wii remote plus, classic controller or pro, wii u classic controller pro, wii wheel as secondary options

Fps isn't a club, the membership of which requires that the main character has a gun by default. That's ludicrous. Though, if given the source, strangely unsurprising.

The idea that the controller you use defines the genre is priceless. If you play StreetFighter 2 on a pc keyboard does that make it a text based adventure game? Does playing Zelda with a guitar hero guitar make it a music game?

The default weapon is typically the weakest in the game, and since (was it Hexen?) proved melee weapons were feasible melee weapons have always featured - witness Freeman's crowbar, the Duke's boot, Lo Wang's katana etc etc The bat isn't that original but at least it's not a knife...

Besides that, zombies and melee go together like Coreys and diet frozen yoghurt bars. Ammo should be scarce and dangerous to use. You should be balancing supplies and bite risk with every step. That's what it's all about!

But that's by the by. If they want you to start with a club, you start with a club. And if they insist you play it with a steering wheel and the let's tap box, then that's how its played!

i also played street fighter 2 games pc and other beatemup games with pc gamepad / control / joypad , doing fighting moves keyboard is very hard

also xbox 360 and ps3, if change games channel, then user that playing games will user playing will get upset,

with wii u games user can still play the games, while someone else watches something other channel,

ps3 or xbox 360 dosent have this option

i have upc and had no problems setting it up. i don't really think its nintendos fault that it does not work for some. thinks of all the broadband providers world wide are nintendo really gonna have to make sure it works for all of them in all cases? do you think sony and ms do that? not a chance

cricketbat for one and the reason its your default weapon is that a random person off the street is not magically going to have access to guns in london during a zombie Apocalypse they might find one but not likely to just have them. look at any zombie movie set in the uk(ignoring USA cause they have easy enough access to guns) where its just a normal person do they have access to guns from the start of the movie? skyrim is a FPS but you dont have guns in that do you? just cause a game is in the First Person does not mean it has to be a modern warfare clone.

i'm fairly sure you cant play ZombiU in single player without the gamepad
