anyone just see what he said?

he was challenged on why labour said 'protect child benefit, vote labour' during the last election campaign

his reply was 'isnt that what you do during a campaign'

cant wait to see the papers in the morning and i can safely say i will never vote labour again. they will go like the greems methinks

missed the show, but sounds disgraceful. You expect them to think it and do it, but just not say it.
Bit of a slip on his part alright

I see what you did there. Thumper of a reply.

That is low. They're a genuine affront to politics. You can ridicule FF and FG all you want, but they're meant to be the labour party ffs. Even at the worst of times would you expect something so cynical. Talk about cracks showing.

A politican telling the truth about telling lies!.

I'd like to say Labour are f*cked after this term but with the rise in support for FF who f'king knows with idiots in this country.

True enough, they're too busy out socialising to get any work done. usually dying in work the next day as well.

I'm slightly  when people say "you expect them to think it and do it but not say it". I don't, I expect the batsards to do what they say they'll do. Now there's a mad idea..

It's pretty obvious that Labour are on burrowed time now.

I thought that was what he had said but I wasn't sure that he would say something so foolish.

He looked suitably embarrassed when Pierce Doherty pointed out that Pat Rabbitte on a salary of €190,000 loses the same amount of income on the abolishment of the PRSI as someone on Minimum Wage! Quite sickening when you think about it.

The really sickening thing here is none of them are worth a fcuk and you're left voting for the lesser of two evils. They're all a bunch of spineless fcuks.

I hope in response to this, that people dont just vote in FF.

Like last time around, when everyone thought FG was going to come in on a white horse and save us all, when all they did was more of the same, look out for their mates, despite all their promises lies.

what is needed, is for FF, FG and Lab (or green) not to be able to form a Govt.

The thing is, all these gob****es do is sign off what the civil service give them, they dont even read the stuff unless its important and even then I'd say its only a summary and I'm sure its all just explained to them.
When they are all on Dail Holidays, how do people think the country keeps running without them??

And what else then? laugh and joke in the dail like its a big game? Im sure it is a big game to them on their power trips, well between that drinking in the bar and making prank calls.
The amount of times Ive watched Dail debates and the Ceann Comhairle has ruled people out (or whatever its called)for making what I thought were legitimate enquiries because of formaility bull****.

Isn't if they only get a certain vote, their funds go south too? and I dont mean Rio.

Just vote for everyone else, anyone else and give everyone a preference except the above as they are fcking useless gutless bunch.
cuts left right and centre (no puns intended) except for own wages?? wtf!

the only difference being he probably still pays 20 times more than them, but never mind that...

Pretty sure 70% of people intentionally voted for pro-austerity parties last election.

I'm willing to bet my house, car, wife, kids, even throw in the dog too- that:

Some of these minimum wage earning folk have worked harder in the one week to earn their minimum wage than Pat (and many more in DE) has probably done in his life. (political one anyway)

    Can we shoot them now?

I've got a lovely wall to line them up against. All painted white so we'll see the blood spatters.

Is this the man who when as leader of labour, dramatically lost the leaders live debate by stating when an economic policy question asked of him.

We'll find the money in the bottom drawer!

Be quick before they introduce a bullet tax and a wall levy!!

Even the parties that don't exist yet are going to do this. If this is enough to put you off Labour I wouldn't bother voting in general elections again.

It's scant consolation that FF or FG would just try to bull**** their way around the point and certainly shouldn't encourage you to vote for them instead.

I'm sorry, are you expecting a big write up? Front page news perhaps?

They've been making confessions like this all year, yet to see a big scandal in the paper about any of it though, I'll hold my breath :) :(

The big problem is who do we elect in the next general? Sinn Fein would be dumbfounded in a position of power because they wouldnt know what to do, FF would be delighted that managed to pull the wool over the nations eyes again and FG/Labour would be enjoying their big fat pensions...they really are all as bad as each other and we arent even in control of our own finances here (hello Germany) so seriously, who will save us...Mick Wallace??

Simple. Just vote any independent. We're screwed anyway. Don't give up hope.
