I'm right handed. Do everything with my right hand except open jars/bottles or whatever. For some reason my left is stronger for that type of thing.

Also, if I throw something with my left hand I look Super gay!

I too, am left handed , regarded as evil and destined to die young.I intend taking a load of screaming right handed people with me when I go....

.... in a blazing bus driving off the cliff.

I'm a leftie too - can't do anything with my right hand bar holding things really, and even then I do it better with my left!

I'm left handed, so no need to 'spare a thought' for my left hand. But thanks for the concern, OP.

Anyone who follows European 'fork etiquette' will know that you should always use their fork with your left hand, regardless of the hand you write with.

So unless you don't use a fork your left hand is used regularly by most people (in Ireland anyway).

Unless your table manners are ****.

    Left-hand drive, or right-hand drive ?
    That's the question.

    True story,

Back in 19 75/76 my younger brother was found to be left handed by the teachers in school,he was about 5/6 years of age.Anyway after numerous studies from teachers and doctors it was decided to send him twice a week to a special school to stop him using his left hand,Don't know what they were doing to him in there but what ever it was it didn't work as he now a happy married left handed man :-)

In hindsight I am sure they were just trying to do whats right :-)

Electroshock therapy was the preferred method to 'turn' lefties I believe.

I write with my right hand. My writing is crap either way, but better with my right. I think pretty much everything else can be done with both hands. My parents and brother think its weird that I can swap hands when eating with a knife and fork and not miss a step.

I always hold my fork with my right hand, and my knife with my left. Am I unmannerly? There's definitely a citeóg in me.

I'm sure an unusually high percentage of boardsies are left-handed, actually. Well if the millions of polls we've had on here are anything to go by.

Studies show left-handed people are more likely to vote in polls.
