Lefty just doesn't have the same smooth and fluid action as right does.
Years of practice win through in the end.

The right hand might be occupied by the mouse; left hand must therefore handle the other mouse.

I'm sure an unusually high percentage of boardsies are left-handed, actually. Well if the millions of polls we've had on here are anything to go by.

My guy is a weirdo- he is right handed, and uses it for everything except for his special alone time. Only lefty will do for that!!!

Which is paradoxical, because I'm actually a leftie. I've just copped on.

I only write with my left hand. Everything else is done with my right. Probably to do with living in a right handed world that I just learnt to adapt.

If you sit on your hand for a few minutes its like a different person.

Yes, I think it was seen as a disability is years gone by. My mother was left handed when she was a child. The teacher used to tie her left hand behind her back with a scarf to make her learn to write with her right.

Muslims use their left hand to clean themselves after the toilet and eat with the right. The left hand is seen as 'unclean' and an insult to then if you go to shake hands with the left hand. I always thought it was cool little system.
Among Muslims, the left hand is reserved for bodily hygiene and considered unclean. Thus, the right hand should be used for eating. Shaking hands or handing over an item with one's left hand is considered an insult.

I'm left handed but right footed. Everything I use with my hand I use my lefty but I kick a football with my right.

I'm the same. I use knives, scissors, lighters, whatever, with my right hand; but write with my left. That's pretty much the only thing I do with it. I could cut etc. with my left, but wouldn't usually.

I'm basically a right-handed person trapped in the body of a leftie. I'm just living a lie.

all this leftie/rightie talk - just realised I like sitting on the right side of the sofa and prefer leaning on my left bum cheek. That's mad now!

I'm right handed, but my left hand is much stronger than my right for some reason, mainly when carrying shopping.

I'm right handed. Do everything with my right hand except open jars/bottles or whatever. For some reason my left is stronger for that type of thing.

Also, if I throw something with my left hand I look Super gay!

I'm a leftie too - can't do anything with my right hand bar holding things really, and even then I do it better with my left!

I'm left handed, so no need to 'spare a thought' for my left hand. But thanks for the concern, OP.

Anyone who follows European 'fork etiquette' will know that you should always use their fork with your left hand, regardless of the hand you write with.

So unless you don't use a fork your left hand is used regularly by most people (in Ireland anyway).

Unless your table manners are ****.

    Left-hand drive, or right-hand drive ?
    That's the question.

    True story,

Back in 19 75/76 my younger brother was found to be left handed by the teachers in school,he was about 5/6 years of age.Anyway after numerous studies from teachers and doctors it was decided to send him twice a week to a special school to stop him using his left hand,Don't know what they were doing to him in there but what ever it was it didn't work as he now a happy married left handed man :-)

In hindsight I am sure they were just trying to do whats right :-)

I write with my right hand. My writing is crap either way, but better with my right. I think pretty much everything else can be done with both hands. My parents and brother think its weird that I can swap hands when eating with a knife and fork and not miss a step.

I always hold my fork with my right hand, and my knife with my left. Am I unmannerly? There's definitely a citeóg in me.
