Does she honestly expect Nazir to hang around the warehouse after letting her go. The guy probably had a helicopter on the roof and was three states away by the time she limped back.

To say nothing of her taking a crowbar to a gun fight.

So the VP has a pacemaker that can be remotely accessed and they just leave the code laying around, not to mention that it can be accessed in the first instance and that no one is monitoring it remotely on their side. Just a little teeny bit of a stretch there.

Who is the snitch ? It comes down to Saul, but I doubt it.

Danny ? but he's been missing in action for the past 2 weeks, maybe it was an opportunity to do his dirty work.

Quinn, A CIA analyst possibility is slim but can happen.

Estes ? quite possible but whats connection does he have to Nazir.

Superb episodes this week, Revenge Homeland walking dead.

Estes has lost a valuable ally in Walden now. I can see more of his dark past unravelling...

Can't remember which episode but it was 2nd or 3rd perhaps.

Roya Hammad asks Estes out for dinner which he accepts.. I don't remember that being followed up? Maybe she turned him, maybe.....

Jazz choons - should have figured that meant trouble.

A pretty good episode with some weaknesses that kinda verged on annoying, but you could generally brush them aside.

Glad to see Saul getting decent airtime - always great to hear what's in his head. What's going to happen now - is he going to lose his operational status?

So, a silent weapon takes out the VP, makes sense and much more personal than attacking returning soldiers. Now he's gone, who will be the next senior political figure that Brody will deal with, assuming he stays in Congress? Even if they do trace that someone interfered with the pacemaker, I doubt they'll be able to link it anyone, regardless of the fact that the show has 24 DNA. It wouldn't surprise me if thing was generally unmonitored, outside of the VP's physician, for example.

Nazir and Carrie do the geopolitical and ideological dance. Loved Carrie's 'bullsh!t!'

Brody has a lot of blood on his hands at this stage - good scene once he started to put the boot into the VP. However, and I know Issa is both Brody and Nazir's weakness, I didn't fully go for the fact that Nazir let Carrie go once Brody started swearing.

Honestly thought the truck driver was going to clobber Carrie for a second. Finn is still a tool, though I guess he and Dana share something other than the accident in common - dads who are AWOL to some degree.

Danny's been taking lessons from Quinn on the 'Jack Bauer wound recovery course'.
Speaking of Bauer, the remote control pacemaker was a wee bit 24-ish, but is technically possible according to the episode's writer. I suppose the usual suspension of disbelief has to be employed re. no cameras in the VPs study, no security around, Brody taking the longest bathroom break in history etc. etc.

Read this and was trying to remember it, thinking i had missed something major in last weeks episode and then realised you were referring to this weeks episode that is on RTE tomorrow night....arghhhh!

Carrie is one of their best assets - emotionally involved with Brody - that can be used to manipulate her.

He's also shouting Nazir an awful lot. I find most of this program believable though

Liked the old referance to Lester Freaman and the paperwork.McNulty would have sorted all this out after two bottles of Jameson.

Brilliant it summed up everything and more that bothered and irritated me in that episode, it was just so sloppy and poor. And the needless teen angst rubbish in the middle is just so off putting as well. For me that was Homelands worst ever episode by a long way. Hopefully it gets better and less obvious before the season ends.

Indeed, though I have to admit, that extent to which the 'Carrie loves Brody' thing underpins part of the story does bother me a little.

Does my head in, the angle they went with her in this series was so poor, she was much less irritating last year and actually was very good in the lead up to Brody's suicide bomb fail. Now shes nothing more than a needless annoyance, the story with the hit and run didnt really go anywhere that it could have in regards the Brody/VP thing either.

Yeah, the way that it developed was really poor. Unless something major happens in the last couple of episodes of the season, the way things have turned out with the VP have made this storyline really pointless.

Been a good season but its a shame how annoying Carrie has become. I had some sympathy for her in the first season but shes just turned into an annoying idiot. Her stupid chin-wobble crying and pointless attachment to Brody have turned her into a really annoying character

If he was still a marine, she'd have divorced him by now....but a congressman and potential VP / Prez - she's sticking around. I think she plays it well, a woman with three morose brats on her hands rather than a woman with a husband.
The hit and run storyline should just be buried - its no big reveal that politicians buy their way out of trouble and it distracts from the main players.

This whole series is just getting more ridiculous with each passing episode. It's suffering from what I would call "prison break syndrome" - successful show but original premise largely null and void but it must continue to be made anyways due to being successful. How the show can continue for 5 seasons with anything other than even more farcical plotlines I fail to see.....

It's only a matter of time before zombies are introduced.

Quinn, A CIA analyst possibility is slim but can happen.

Quite a significant portion of this week and last week's episodes were dedicated to explaining how Quinn is not just a CIA analyst.

In other news, that episode was the most diabolical hour of garbage I've watched in quite some time. And I saw this week's X Factor.

Don't be silly, there's no such thing as zombies.
I have heard from a reliable source that they're talking to Achmed the dead terrorist for season 3 though.
    :D
