Don't want people to lose their jobs or anything but I'd be delighted if gamestop went out of business, or at least another competitor came along. They're the only games specialist store in Ireland so I guess they think they can charge what they want. I was in there the other day and they were asking €140 for a used Nintendo DSi, felt like telling the woman asking about it that she was being ripped off.

if they went out of business that would leave us with smyths(a toy shop), HMV(a music shop) and argos do you really want to be in that situation. i agree now that game is gone they could use competition but with the increased use of online shopping i would find it hard to believe someone else entering the market at least during the next few years.

Anyone know if Smyths have started sending out texts letting people who have put down a booking deposit know that they can collect their consoles. We put a deposit in Blanch and still waiting for txt

Anyone know if GameStop have a bundle for the Zombi U pack. I would assume not seeing as it basically is a bundle, but anyway...

I need a smack of a bat to understand the grammar here tonight

Tank! Tank! Tank! is €34.99 in Smyths or £22.99 in Argos up the north,Smyths have also dropped the price of several games by €5 tonight including Assassin's Creed, Zombie U and New Super Mario U to €55 each and Batman to €50.

Can anyone post the prices they see tomorrow on here I will be up North tomorrow and will post HMV,GAME,Argos etc prices when I get home tomorrow night.

Most of them are €56.99 in hmv this morning.

Got nintendoland for €54.99 in smyths. Nsmbu was same price.

Argos have Fifa for €50.99 so gona buy that and you get a €5 off voucher for your next purchase so going to queue up again and buy new super mario brothers €56.99-€5 voucher €51.99 Fifa + Mario total €103

HMV offered me a deal yesterday, for an extra 100 on top of the 380 for ZombiU bundle they would throw in Sonic Racing and one of Nintendoland, Sports Connection or Batman. Said no thanks, not really bothered about any of those games and i have a gamestop giftcard to get Mario Bros with, but not a bad deal. They said they were giving first dibs to people with pre-orders because stocks of most of the games are very limited until the next shipment.

Yeah I'd got told that offer too, I'm getting Nintendo Land, but have no interest in Sonic Racing.

Just collected mine from Henry Street.
Have to say very little hassle.
I was nearly getting super mario for free but I owned up and told the girl it was nintendoland that was free and it was in the box...
    Honesty and all that..
My super mario bros has shipped from Littlewoods aswell.
    Happy days.

I don't think they are sending out texts for those who placed a deposit. I didn't get one. Just go in and show your deposit receipt, that's what I did :)

Got call from them yesterday evening that premium wii u is ready to collect until Sat evening. So got it this morning. However stock is just for people on the list as far as saw (one lad was asking for it but and no joy)

Weird deals but could save you something like 5 euro:

    Premium + any game = 429 ( 379 + mario for 54.99 = 435)
    Premium + cheap game = 419 (34 -44 like Sonic)

Guys picked up my Wii U having trouble with trying to connect to UPC router. It picks up the signal but when I enter in password to connect it fails. Password is correct. If anyone has any ideas let me know please thanks.

Mine is at home waiting for me when i finish work. The next 7 hours are gonna drag sooo bad! You know the feeling you got as a child on christmas morning, having to sit through mass, counting the seconds until you could go home and play with your toys again? Except it's a 7 hour latin mass! That's how it feels...

The icing on the cake for me today, is that this stuff FINALLY means i have enough points for the SNES style classic controller that i've wanted for ages.

    Good day so far!

Nope it's a numerical password :( I'm getting error code 103-1005. I have tried restarting router.

Just noticed on the last page of the quick start guide the transferred data from wii to wii u cannot be transferred back. Just something to be aware of.

Also, hats off to HMV. They honoured the original pre-order price absolutely quibble free. I'd be inclined to shop there now for games etc, fair dues.
