They all have the same power connector, just like the original DS had the same connector as the Gameboy Advance SP.
That is exactly what I said in the original post. I said the Nyko charge cable was able to power the DS Lite, DSi/XL, 3DS/XL and the Wii U gamepad like was stated in the post I quoted as they have the same connector.

Then I mentioned that the original DS had the same connector as the Gameboy Advance SP, I never said that the original DS and Gameboy Advance SP had the same connector as the later models.

    DSL has a different connection.
DSi has the same as 3DS
Wii U GamePad has a slightly bigger charger jack, meaning the charger does not fit into the 3DS' port, despite them having the same shape.

GameStop Henry Street are doing a midnight launch tonight, i.e. phoning people with pre-orders to come in and collect them. There's only one unreserved system left, a ZombiU Premium Pack.

Well I went into HMV to see if I could find anything out.
Told the girl I had pre-ordered and was checking to see how stock was and If I would be ok for my order..

She looked at me with a blank expression...
She then said " If its released tomorrow then I can't give it to you now.."

I told her that others had rang branches to be told if their pre-order was safe.
She took my reciept, walked to the pc, looked at the screen without typing anything in , turned on her heels and said " Sorry I don't think I can find that out for you"

    Tomorrow should be fun....

Which HMV was it? I've found some of the staff know what they're doing and know what they're talking about with regard to this stuff, and some don't have a notion.

When I was in last week one of the guys got the lady that was their "Games Manager", and she was incredibly helpful.

In Drogheda the staff are fairly knowledgeable, the gamestop staff there haven't a clue, though, outside of COD and FIFA...

    Henry Street.
5 people flapping around behind the counter, place was empty.
    She didnt have a clue..
She was quite dismissive aswell and rude.
Hopefully they will be staffed with people who know what they are doing.
Normally HMV are fairly spot on with there staff, have never had an issue in all the years dealing with them.

It's absolutely rediculous. I have rang HMV in the Crescent Limerick (and I am not exagerating) 40 times in the last 3 days and the will not pick up their fcuking phones.

Christmas Staff or they have just moved the CD staff and stock to the games section so give them time to learn.

Is there anywhere doing deals? HMV In the UK are giving free mario land to the first 100 in the que.

Here's the UK ones, nothing special:

    Price round-up
Unlike with the Nintendo 3DS there isn't an intense price war surrounding the Wii U.The truce on undercutting and cr(rrrrr)azy deals means it's just a matter of finding the retailer that has the best bundle of hardware, games and peripherals for you. Here's a few we've found:

Amazon: Premium Package (incl. Nintendo Land, HDMI Cable, Nintendo Premium, Wii U stand, GamePad charging cradle and stand) - £299.99 =
    €370.0047

    Amazon: Basic Package - £248.00 =
    306.4412 euros

Amazon: Wii U Premium, New Super Mario Bros. U, Wii U Pro Controller - £380.99 =
    €470.7703

GAME: Wii U Premium Pack with ZombiU - £349.99 =
    €431.6742

ShopTo: Wii U Black Premium Pack and New Super Mario Bros. U - £339.85 = €419.9357
    ShopTo: Wii U Premium Zombi U Pack and New Super Mario Bros. U - £374.86 = €463.1958
    Play.com: Wii U Basic Package - £259.99 = €321.2566
    Play.com: Wii U Premium Package - £309.99 = €383.0391
    Zavvi: Wii U Premium ZombiU Package - £319.99 = €395.3956
    Zavvi: Wii U Basic Just Dance 4 Package - £249.99 = €308.9001
    Tesco: Wii U Basic Package - £248.00 =
    306.4412 euros

    Sainsbury's: Wii U Basic Package and Just Dance 4 - £269.99
    = €333.6131

do any these delivery for free

Marcan has twitched the Wii U CPU and GPU clocks.
Wii U processor has a clock speed of 1.24 GHz
Wii U GPU apparently runs at 550 MHz

    Taken from C&VG

Nintendo of Europe has detailed the Wii U's digital launch line-up.

Following the downloading of a hefty day one system update enabling online functionality, for which Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has apologised, Wii U owners will be able to download a number of games from the eShop.
As well as select downloadable versions of packaged software from Nintendo and other publishers such as New Super Mario Bros. U, Nintendo Land, ZombiU and FIFA 13, the eShop will launch with a FIFA 13 demo and the following digital offerings:

Trine 2: Directors Cut (Frozenbyte), special launch offer until December 31: €13.49/£10.99, then: €16.99/£13.99
Puddle (Neko Entertainment), special launch offer until December 14: €7.99/£7.19, then: €9.99/£8.99
Nano Assault Neo (Shin'en Multimedia), €9.99/£8.99
    Little Inferno (Tomorrow Corporation), €14.99/£12.99
    Chasing Aurora (Broken Rules), €11.99/£10.79

    Chance it!

I hear there's really bad traffic around your workplace tomorrow. :)

Sure if you've the time to get there and back during your lunch, you should have enough time to get there before work

If you've never payed Trine 2, I would suggest it. Great game. I played the first on PC and the second on PS3.
