    Is Denilson at Juve too?

    He's in Brazil

It is quite common for the large club loaning out a player to a smaller club to pay a large percentage of the players high wages when out on loan.

    Like Carroll ?

How are Gibbs/Szcesny a waste of money? Also the figures in that link aren't confirmed or anything.

Denilson/Bendter are on loan so Arsenal won't be paying wages for them either

The club are paid most Joe Cole's last year. I'd say most of Big Andy's are been paid as well.

Some of the footballers earning nearly 10 million over 4 years is a complete waste of money.

That Sterling, despite being an amazing prospect, wouldn't make much of an impression on the team this season. Think it was something like 10 starts.

I think as soon as he signs a new contract next month on his 18th birthday he will be dropped straight away. I think they are just keeping him happy till then.

So, back to your point, do you think Arsenal aren't paying chunk of his wages?

I suspect that Liverpool are paying a chunk of his wages but Carroll is on relatively low wages (to his transfer fee) - something like 60k IIRC - so not sure.

IIRC West Ham are paying all his wages

What was the bet out of curiosity?

For Sterling to make more league appearances than Maxi made last season

We don't have that many players who are good enough to be worth keeping happy in that way, and if he's one of them it means he should be starting.

Who's going to take his place if he's dropped?

Who's going to replace him if he decides not to sign a new contract?

If he decides to take the big money and head back down to London. Back to QPR and Harry.

QPR would have back in a heartbeat but I would imagine he won't be heading back there

I wasn't making a point - just answering your question

I hope not and I hope he signs a new contract. But I do believe that is part of the reason he has played so many games so far this season to show him he has a future here.

But until the contract is signed I'd be worried now Harry is in charge at QPR and will have money to spend. Harry has talked him up a lot and there was talk last season he wanted to try and bring him to Spurs.

Why would Sterling go to a club like QPR?

Why would we sell him? He still has a couple of years left on a contract.
Why would he go to QPR?

The reason Sterling is making so many appearances for us is because he is so bloody good. No other reason.

He's not all that yet. He has no end product yet.

He came from QPR. They sold him for the money.

He's not all that yet. He has no end product yet.

He created two of our three goals last week.
He scored the winner against Reading.
He set up the equaliser against Sunderland.
He has created plenty of other opportunities we haven't finished.

He is not the finished article by a long way, but he does have end product.

He very likely won't but if we were looking for reasons then he still has a really close association with QPR and in particular Steve Gallen(coach there) who is a close family friend of his.

I still doubt he will return to QPR but I do believe he is interested in going back to London. I just hope he feels he is developing well at Liverpool

    What makes you believe this?

Come December when he signs a new contract there will only be two clubs in England who could afford him, and he wouldn't get in their first XI

What exactly is it for? More than 800k for 'Reserve Staff' Like club ambassadors and such?

    RESERVES STAFF
    Liam Brady £3,200 £166,400

No idea. Brady seems to be well respected for what ever role he does

Brady is Head of Youth Development and Academy Director. I would have thought he would have been on more money. Maybe that is why he is at RTE as well. Probably making more money from RTE.

Gaston Ramierez played well enough for Southhampton today. One that slipped by? I guess most of the Southhampton team looked like world beaters today against Newcastle.

Seemingly he was never a target for the current management.

By current management do you mean Rodgers or Kenny/Comolli? Or was he just never a target at all and all the rumours were just crap.
