    Ordered a Green J-tank 3ml, 801 fusion cartos and a green 1000mah twist.
36ml of 24mg Flux Strawberry Cream Pie and Banana Split and and another green mini nova tube.
Another 7ml bottle of Halo Tribeca. I keep meaning to stop wasting my money and buy a 30ml but always get distracted by something else. I only got a few vapes out of my last bottle due to the epic leaking from my mini nova.

1 6ml Bottle of Jasmine Concentrate
1 6ml Bottle of Passionfruit Concentrate
1 6ml Bottle of Coffee Fudge Concentrate

Set up now for a few weeks should be good for about for another 150-200mls of juice :D

Going to jump up a notch on vaping. Ordered the Lavatube 2, but without batteries or charger. Anybody know where I can pick them up cheap? The ones I've looked at seem expensive.

e-smokeireland.eu, bargainvapour.com and e-cigshop.eu all sell the efest batteries that've been impressing everyone. They're pretty cheap.
E-cigshop have the 3400mAh rated batteries as well!
It'd be worth the extra punt to not have to charge every day.

*salivates imagining 2 x 3400mAh in TH mod*

Yeah, it's brutal expensive with the shippin cost - I only get it if I'm getting something else from them. Would you not just have got Andrei's stuff at a fraction of the price?

I still have about 6m of andreis stuff :) i prefer the bulli stuff. seems to give a cleaner flavour.

I got 10 (?) metres of Andrei's stuff a couple of weeks ago for about 6 Euro and I have some Bulli stuff as well. I think you'e right though - the Bulli stuff does maybe taste a bit cleaner or something but it's more difficult to not cut the strands when winding the coils.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 23,555 ✭✭✭✭Sir Digby Chicken Caesar

yeah it's a bit delicate alright, but so long as it doesnt completely fall apart it seems to still wick fine

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,831 ✭✭✭Lucutus

    ouch, 16EUR for 5m

I need to buy some wick to try and build coils for the spiral dripper, (which I've been using exclusively for about 2 weeks, it's amazing in comparison to clearos), as the second coil assembly that came with it is nearly gone. I, um, disassembled the first one after it clogged up to see how it was put together... NR wire legs, apparently.

What would the best bang for buck be? Andrei's ebay wick or is there alternatives?

A thread/sticky for rebuildable supplies would be handy.

Cotton make-up pad? Cheaper, tastier, easier to change. Just can't dry-burn.

lack of dry burning means you'll go through more wire though as you'll be recoiling far more often

i ordered 14m of 2mm wick and 10m of .15nic and it came to something like €20.80 delivered from Romania. (got 2mm from him before as well and it was really good wire as well. cant remeber how quick delivery was but not long.

I find Andrei's stuff very good and very easy to work with as well. The Bulli stuff is very good but its the shipping cost and more or less one week shipping time that's a killer.

Doubt you'll beat Andrei's stuff for price, quality and next day delivery.

Aye, I tried that last night, can't really get the length in it though, the original wicks are doubled up and the cotton is very fiddly to place right in the base, much easier to insert the assembly with wick.

I'll take this one out later and do a job on it tonight, it might last another few days.

goon, where did you buy your bits from?

I've rewicked the pro dripper loads of times using only resistance wire. Works grand.

Here's some pictures of the assembly, that looks like 2mm wick?

actually, looking at it here, I doubt 2mm would work doubled up. must be 1mm

You can just take the cotton out (pulled from both sides it thins in the middle and just pulls away), then dry-burn the gunk off the coil.
New cotton strip rolled to a point and fed through - voila!

I've had the same two coils in my RDA for... A month, maybe two?

The Tiamat/Aga-T on the other hand... Wire Waste Central.
    So. Many. Coils. Popped.

I found two strands of 1mm a lot better than a single strand of 2mm for some reason

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,831 ✭✭✭Lucutus

    two strands... ***** genius.

will try feeding some cotton through in the meantime and see how it works out.

    hrm

might try some cotton in my bulli so.. pretty sure I'd just wreck the coil pulling the cotton out or putting a new wick into an already existing coil

Another quick question for you bubba9, are you doubling up the wire for the legs? I imagine that would be difficult to thread through those tiny holes in the ceramic cup?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 73 ✭✭republic of goon

I got the website of this listings page on ukvapers
    http://ukvapers.org/Thread-Places-to-buy-Wire-Wick-Mesh-and-wire-technical-info

    http://vapo.ro/mods

Very good for everything . can get wick wire and mesh there .

No, too much bother and works grand the way I do it. Never did it for Vivi Nova either even though it seems to be recommended to stop the grommit burning. The best thing about the dripper is the cup meaning you can easily make 5 (or 6) wraps without worrying about the ends shorting out.

So it's a nice menthol? What website did you get it from? I'm looking for a strong menthol but with a bit sweetness to it. Got one called double menthol yesterday and it tastes like some cleaning solution.
