Way down the bitching order in a healthy 19th, coupled with a 13th in happy thread,
The joys of possessing the inability to be angry for too long :)
I reckon if there is ever going to be a straw to break this camels back though,
It's going to have Bus Eireann printed on its side...

Why do people insist on stopping and bunching 6 a breast to have the afternoon chats in the narrowest of passageways?. Today I came across it in the tunnel from the paddocks to the courtyard. I nearly would have got over it if it was raining, but it was as dry as a bone. I threw them a dirty look so I won

Always come across it on the stretch from the library to the Kemmy,
The long, relatively wide, stretch of path,
They congregate at about the hour mark, every hour,
Right in the middle, forcing people to walk to the grass/mud...
Then take off and leave when things start to die down...
    Unpleasant...

The library is a joke. Just went in there and there wasn't one free seat in the whole place. Walked up and down each floor twice but every desk either had people on Facebook and watching movies or else there was just a laptop and books left on the desk with nobody there.

They need to add another 500 seats to the place.

With 500 new seats will come 200 leaving cert students to take them! :pac:

Ah, but the revolutionary RFID cards we were all issued with will eliminate that problem!

You do realise some people use Facebook for groups etc? I have CAD, Thermodynamics, Formula Student and Applied mechanics groups on Facebook. That's where we post announcements etc.

I doubt I'd take it too well if someone told me to get off the computer to let them on because they had been looking at what I was doing and felt they were more important.

To be fair, there wasn't even a spare seat in the library for me to sit down and complain from. Had to go to the rooms in the SU.

I went in for 9 this morning, someone sat beside be at about half 9, left they're books came back at 12 and then turned the seat around and talked to a friend for a bit. She then got up and hadn't come back by the time I was leaving for a tutorial at 3. Head wrecking. It'll take them 20 mins tops to find a seat when they actually need it.

I don't know how people can be so stupid. When I eventually found a seat today the guy next to me went away and left his laptop and his IPhone on the desk for about 20 minutes. I take everything with me if I'm going somewhere.

Agreed. Doesn't help that the guy I'm with is so terrible that I know I'm just going to end up doing his work and saying he did it so I get a decent grade.

I had the same problem once and went to the lecture to talk about it. He said this is great experience for working people in the real world and he wouldn't mark it easier until I told that if this was the real world he would have been fired for lack of work which he then agreed with.

Was in this situation last year. One lad refused to come to meetings and would only communicate via email, which when you're working on a complicated piece of sotfware with loads of different parts is less than ideal.

We asked to do a part of it, he sent us a file that wouldn't work. So in the interview with the lecturer, we said nothing. Then the lecturer asked him to show the pieces of code he had written. At which point he desperately searched the entire project folder for his file, but couldn't find it. At which point I said, "I told you we had to take it out because it didn't work." (which was true btw). Lecturer then asked him to explain a piece of code from the files and he hadn't a breeze.

So satisfying to see him squirm. The c*nt.
